Morning.
I’m tired. When we went to dinner last night, MH had planned for a couple friends to surprise me. We had cake and then went back to my friend’s house just to chat and watch a movie. We didn’t leave until 130.
Not much planned today except a target and grocery run. I need to do some laundry, too.

Morning! C was up at 6:30 and dh took her, but I was awake so I got up too. Dh made omelettes for breakfast and then we cleaned the house and are now at the park with the boys practicing baseball. Dh got Lucas in the head, so I’m sure I’ll be getting a call from school tomorrow. We need to do grocery shopping and I think we’re going to go look at Halloween costumes and then have lunch at a brewery.

Well, the wrong kid is exhausted after the museum and lunch—he is snoring away in the backseat. Meanwhile C is wide awake and talking about her shoes 🤷🏻♀️
It was the perfect day to go—beautiful weather for the outside portions. Now we’re headed home to watch the Jags.

We had a good Sunday. Started it being my turn to sleep in (well 08.30) and then arts and crafts. We were completely out of meatballs so we took the kids to Ikea, the weather was lovely to they played outside for a little and went to bed without so much as a peep. I’m sad it’s Monday again tomorrow.

We were suppose to have my nephew’s birthday party today but he was sick so it was canceled. I took T to the doctor this morning for his cough but the dr said just a cold. DS was cleared to play tonight so he and H are at the rink and I will head over soon. We ended up decorating for Halloween and grocery shopping today.

We decorated for Halloween yesterday since my aunt P was visiting today. She was a little shocked that LO was in a Christian preschool. But then she saw all of his science experiments and was then okay with it (she’s a scientist with 2 or 3 degrees). I really need to start cooking dinner but I have a really big headache that won’t go away.

I had a great weekend hanging with my family in STL. Driving home now. Back to work tomorrow. I just found out I get to do a detail with our Fire division instead of getting laid off this winter! And it has potential to turn into a permanent job for me. But I will start it as soon as I get back from vacation. So now I only have 2 weeks to wrap us several projects in my current job. Yikes!
