mamabear have you tried Hue leggings? I have always worn and liked the regular ones, then I discovered the wide-waistband style, and they're now my go-to...comfortable, affordable and thick enough to hold everything in place.

mskatiep FWIW, Dude was a nightmare when I was pregnant with X and P. I really think he was ambivalent about having siblings but because he was dealing with various feelings about it he didn't know how to explain that and the frustration manifested in tantrums and defiance. Maybe something like that is going on with Layla.

You guys may remember that I went to the chiro last wed because I had pain right in the middle of my back. She had a really hard time adjusting me and told me to see how it was and come back in a week if it wasn’t better. The pain did decrease but never went away. Now today I’m having referred pain in my rib cage on the left side and it’s making it very difficult to lay in bed the way I like. I think I’m going to go back again tomorrow because this is no bueno.

trtlcrzy, hopefully she’s able to fix it tomorrow. Is bad enough to be in pain, worse when it’s even interrupting sleep.

Yeah @mambear. Get you some ponte leggings. They are thicker and nicer than your average legging. You may pay a little more for them, but so worth it.

Yes, I have a couple pairs of these from Loft and they are great!

ETA: my mom even wears them—she gets hers at Talbots! If a 62 y.o. Can wear them and look good, N13 moms can, too

Thanks ladies. Yesterday ended up being even more torturous than I even planned for Layla. On top of sitting on the couch doing nothing yesterday she came to my appointment and we ended up with a 2hr wait before my appointment in a very boring office. Then she heard it from my family once we drove 2 hrs to my grandma's wake. Hopefully the impression that getting kicked out of school really sucks is well imprinted on her little brain.
