Morning! Another day at work. Last week of the fiscal year, yay! Things have not been as crazy as usual for year end, but I think our numbers are still on pace, so it’s pretty nice.

Dh is going to take the kids to gymnastics tonight so I can get a head start on painting.

H climbed out of bed at 5:30 and I heard him so I met him at his door and took him to N’s bed with me since she was already in our bed. I slept a little, he did not. Can we please rewind 2 weeks to when both kids slept in their own beds all night?

Currently, workout shorts because it still hot as hell here.  During the winter I have workout pants.  They aren't tight and MH makes fun of me for wearing clothes from the 80s.  I don't care though.  

My problem is my thigh shape.  If I get a top that's long enough to cover where I'm self conscious about, I might as well be wearing a dress.  I also don't like to wear tops that are too tight so I don't think I can embrace the legging life, due to my own insecurities/imperfections.

guster and everyone else I am mostly exclusively in workout clothes, and when it cools down leggings and long shirts. I love dressing up but it seems silly to put on jeans and boots to run to target and the gym and hang out with me kids at home. I do step it for appointments or if I have to go into the classroom.

tgrimes you’re beautiful and would look fabulous in anything. Get your self some leggings and start living your best life!

I am mildly hungover this morning. We had drinks at the pool during the day yesterday and then walked to the food truck festival at our local park and enjoyed beers and music and dinner. It was really fun but I’m moving slow this morning! Otherwise it’s SSDD. I’m going to go to the gym and then run out to old navy after I drop ry at school. Then we have two soccer practices tonight.

wineallthetime IMO kids get a free pass to can go out in pajamas. I don't think anything of it when I see kids out in pjs.

trtlcrzy I am usually wearing PJs in the drop off line. I shower but put pajamas back on. Lol. I like the blog you posted... I need help with that kind of stuff. I'm the worst.

It doesn't help that I could literally wear pajamas to my job if I wanted to. 

I wear leggings some days, but with a long cardigan or a flannel. I am trying to step myself up from yoga pants and a zip up.

I definitely need to step up my clothing game.  I've gotten so lazy, esp since I've gained a good bit of weight in the past year, I keep saying I don't want to buy anything in this size, but I keep just buying cheap crap to get me through.

Today I am wearing Jean legging (I hate the work jegging) capris, flip flops, and an old Old Navy comfy sweatshirt.

As to leggings, tgrimes, trtlcrzy, I was totally anti leggings, and even anti skinny jeans for a long time due to my own insecurites. However, when pregnant this last time I was given some hand me downs with a bunch of leggings and they were so comfy, I got used to them.

Now, I think they look better on me than regular clothes. And my thighs/butt is my largest area, by far.

Try it. I promise, you'll love it. I used to just wear them around the house, then I started wearing them more and more, and now I hate when I am wearing anything else!

Thanks for all the love guys! It’s so crazy how quick things can turn. This morning we noticed her balance was more off than usual but then she seemed a bit better so I took her to school. About an hour later her physical therapist texted that she could barely walk because her balance was so bad. I was an hour away at our HQ office so I texted MH to go by and see what was going on. She has swelling around her shunt, which tells us there is a problem. So we called the Neurosurgeon and they told us to come on straight to radiology for CT and X-ray. We should know more after that. But likely brain surgery this afternoon. They told us not to feed her.

Thanks! I was able to grab clothes and the iPad! And I just hit up a drive thru. So we should be good!
