FFFC: I snagged a full container of chick fil a caramel sauce and have been keeping in my pumping room fridge and eating off it all week. Dipping my fruit in it, putting it in my morning oatmeal, etc. yum.

Had a dentist appointment this morning because I just had keep my week of fun going. I’m feeling normal but the doctor still hasn’t called me back, which I’m pissed about. Well I’m mostly normal, I found a house we like in our price range and burst into tears twice at the thought of moving.

My property manager just messaged me pictures of window sills in our Virginia house that have mold on them. He tells me "this needs to be addressed"
Uh. I've literally never had mold growing on a window sill - these aren't bathroom windows either - so what the hell does he want us to do about it? Tell the tenants to clean the damn window and stop turning my house into a sauna.

I just got back today from a short-ish work trip. Of course I get home and the baby is asleep so I couldn’t snuggle him right away.
H got a couple days of solo parenting and hopefully it was eye opening. 😆 he called me this morning to say he didn’t have any lunch to send for the baby so he made scrambled eggs. Gross! Do not want hours old eggs.

cythe does the house have central AC? I’m baffled by this. Tell those people to get some air flowing!

It is regularly over 90% humidity here and I have never in my life seen mold on window sills. Prime them some bleach and a sponge and tell them to have at it. When we had tenants they also cried about mold somewhere, but there wasn’t any. And they also cried the toilets kept getting clogged (they were flushing socks and other non-toilet friendly items). Tenants are fun.

bootsorhearts1, nay to straws. He has been drinking water from sippies and we’ve tried sippies too but to no avail. I need to get a straw cup to see if he’ll take it 😫 Any straw cup recos? I thought he’d have no issues since he was totally fine with my mom napping and giving him bottles when I was at work a few months ago. He took a bottle no problem from hubs tonight just like every night so 🤷🏻♀️ We’re going to give it a go again tomotrow since we put some milk in the sippy during dinner and he drank it all up. I’m now scared of transitioning to whole cows milk soon cos I don’t pump enough and I don’t want to buy anymore formula if I can help it.

duskymonkey we use these cups too but it's also the cup that got mold in the straw. It comes with a pipe cleaner to clean the inside of the straw and I highly recommend using it every time if you're going to put something other than water in it.

duskymonkey we use those weighted straw cups as well. DS1 was drinking breast milk in one for a while and I never had issues. I use the pipe cleaner every time and make sure to squeeze the top of the straw to allow water to flow through when rinsing.
