I’ve been on nightly baby duty since C has been sick and he got up 3x last night 😑 luckily he seems like he’s feeling better- I’m thinking it was just a cold + maybe another tooth coming?
DH is going up north tonight and I have the bachelorette party so the boys are staying with MIL. I’m kind of nervous about throwing this party- I only know a couple of the girls- but hopefully it will be fun!

But the party sounds amazing and I’m sure it will go smoothly.

Today we are going apple picking and then going to get pumpkins. It’s one of my favorite traditions. Every year I take a picture on N in the pumpkin wagon. This year E gets added. I can’t wait.

Hi, all! I never checked in yesterday. I am sipping coffee and watching the Great British Baking Show while DD2 roams the living room. DD1 played with her a bit and is now eating breakfast and watching something in the other room.
H is leaving for Vegas soon. His boss is taking him and a few others on an all expenses paid trip to celebrate their acquisition, and I'm not jealous at all. 😐 but oh well, should be a fairly chill weekend. After DD2 takes her morning nap we will go to Target. I'm going to work out during her nap, but I also have to straighten the house up, do laundry, clean the bathrooms, all the usual stuff I have put off all week, lol... Exciting stuff. I think we will take a trip to the park later.
DD2 is getting sick, poor thing. Her nose is runny.

I'm not even sure we will be able to make it to the pumpkin patch this year. The good one is 45 minutes away, and it is usually 100 degrees the weekend we choose to go. 😖

He will be fine with MIL... Have fun tonight!

I bought H and his buddies Notre Dame football tickets for today, so he's in South Bend with his friends for the weekend. The girls and I went to boot camp and we're meeting up with my bestie and her LO at the zoo after naptime. I'm happy for a low key weekend.

Yesterday was 9 mo appt. we weren’t doing a good enough job lately of really pulling back on Teddy’s penis once a day and it had partially fused so the dr broke the skin today. He said we still caught it early because most end up at a urologist. Poor guy was shaking last night when dh did it again. 😭

PSA: I guess the target car seat trade in event is going on until the 22nd. I may persuade dh to take advantage and trade in for a convertible.
Otherwise we would be waiting several years for DD’s booster seat.
Have any of you transitioned to concertible with your babes yet, if you had infant seats to start?

We transitioned to convertible in both cars a month or two ago. The bucket seat was easier until she got so big and I didn't want go carry it anyway! Lol. But our seat from DD1 hadn't expired so we used that in my car, and got a Graco 4ever for H's. It is a great seat.

We moved ds2 to the convertible in July. We ordered a new forward facing 5point harness carseat/booster for ds1.

Also, my 3.5 year old helped us put together a 300 piece puzzle today. I am so in over my head with this kid. 😮 There were a couple times that I was like oh honey I don't think that piece goes there and he was like yes it does, see mommy?
Earlier in the day, he had a full blown meltdown because HE accidentally turned the TV off. 🤷

My DD is almost 3 and still RF, and I figured she would be in that same seat for several more years.

She started FF at about 3.5 last summer but I don't think she quite met the FF height limit on the seat DD2 is using. i think her head was higher than recommended in the seat, despite not quite meeting the height limit, and that is why we switched to a Graco that could turn into a booster. She is still in the 5 point harness and will be as long as I can make it work!

Oh poor guy @idubhawksfan! I didn't know you were supposed to do that with boys, either.
I didn't realize your LO has the name that is our theoretical boy name (that both DDs would have been had either one been a boy).

I forgot to edit that out from the text I sent to my mom telling her. That is his NN. Yeah we were supposed to pull the skin back to expose the head after his circ but I had no idea it could fuse so late. I put petroleum jelly back on it again today just like newborn. Poor little guy.

Holy fuck guys. The scariest thing happened today. I gave E to my H, who was sitting on our couch, and went into my kitchen. I heard my H start to cough, he has had bronchitis, when I hear silence, a thump, and then crying. I ran into the living room and E was on the floor and my husband had passed out! I grabbed E and he stopped crying immediately so I knew he was fine. And I start yelling to my H who had “woken up”. He was only out for a few seconds but he had no idea what had happened and he felt so scared that he dropped E. I seriously thought he had a seizure. We called our neighbors who were willing to drive H to the ER and so I could stay home with the kids. While he was in the ER he did it again. Basically the doctors said he was coughing too hard. His chest and lungs were clear from the meds he was on and so they told him he was coughing so hard to bring the crap in his lungs only there isn’t anything anymore. He has to try to relax himself when/if he starts to cough to prevent it from happening again. But it was scary.
And E must have fallen directly on his stomach because he’s doesn’t have a bump or scratch on him. He was just inches from our coffee table so now I’m going to have nightmares about him hitting it.
