Chugging red wine...lots of vomit in the house tonight.
The first time he made it to the commode in time; 2nd time he was lying on the couch with me. Thank God I had a heavy blanket under him on the sofa or we would be buying a new one.
eta: literally the only 2 places the kids have been in the past week are the park and school (1 day) so I guess they picked up something at one of those places. Lovely.

Sorry I've been MIA this week. Works been a little nuts, and my youngest Aunt died, which was a huge shock to everyone. I wasn't very close to her, but I'm heartsick for my cousins. One of which is a 30 yr old man that has never lived on his own and has some undiagnosed mental delays. He found her. Idk what he's going to do. My mom's hanging onto sobriety by a thread with all of it. We had the funeral on Friday and she is struggling. She's going to come up this week to see her rehab counselor, hopefully that helps. It's just been a shit week.

Also how much do you spend on classmates birthdays. I don’t want to be cheap but I don’t want to spend a ton of money. There are 20 kids this year. I spend about 20-25. I also pick and choose parties. A lot of the kids do the whole class and really we can't spend all our weekends at parties, we have lives too (even if those lives are made up events that fall through) |

FFC I don't wear my rings at all. I haven't for awhile. I also never changed my last name. I hardly ever wear mine. And if I had to do it over again, I'm not sure I would have changed my last name. |

FFC I don't wear my rings at all. I haven't for awhile. I also never changed my last name. I wear my ring in a necklace because I’ve gotten to fat and I refuse to let my FIL make it bigger. I also kept my last name, but I did put dh’s last name behind it. Probably it is more normal to keep your own name over here. |

WWN13 do? DD’s class this year is 5 girls and 10 boys. When they go to art, they combine with a special education class then split into 2 art classes, each with half her class and half the special education class. There are 2 art rooms and 2 teachers and the classes go in at the same time. They have done this since kindergarten and it’s been fine. This year though, the special ed class has 11 boys and no girls. When they split them the other day, DD was made to be the only girl in her class, so basically her and like 13 boys. Her best friend is a boy as he is in the same class as her so she’s happy but I think it’s really weird of the school to put 1 girl in a class. Would you say something to the school or leave it alone since my kid wasn’t really upset by it? I'd leave it alone if there isn't an issue. |

MH went to his cousins house. At 2:30 he texted me that another cousin was going to drive him home soon. So at 4am I wake up and he still isn't home (he was only 10min away). I call him 45677 times, no answer. I started texting and calling all his cousins, no answer cause 4am. I'm full blown panicking at 5am when I get word from a cousin that he just stayed at original cousins house. Seriously!? You couldn't shoot me a quick text to let me know!?

chrisy01, I spend $15-20 on classmates birthdays and don't send a gift if we don't go. If it's one of his friends in our friend group, I spend $25-30.
