My kids have discovered someone/thing on YouTube called Blippi and that is holding their attention this morning. I might take the opportunity to switch my summer stuff out to the guest closet and move fall stuff over. Still super warm here but a girl can dream, right?
B seems to have perked up with the tylenol, he played a rousing solo game of HiHo Cherry O and is now rummaging through the Magnatiles.

My mom does daycare. Her name is Carol and one of her little toddlers can't pronounce it and calls her Ewok. 🤣 I've decided to call her that now.

The one thing left is the little 'work bench'. I want to ditch it since we're planning a toy kitchen for Christmas. I'm hoping I can convince the kids to pass it to my nephew...I'm sure an almost 3-month old would love that, right??  |

Sorry, I'm a PW today. Currently camped out in the living room b/c B has asked that I "keep an eye on him"...so he's on the couch watching Paw Patrol and I'm finding more things to spend money on online. His stomach is bothering him and he's feverish, uggggggh. Hoping this is as short-lived as whatever C had last night.

Hiiiiiii! Running group this morning and it was a HOT one. It was my best run in ages though, so I'm happy.
Both boys had soccer this morning and I took Chase, it was so cute. He was definitely one of the smaller kiddos but he wasn't intimidated. He's so small though that he physically couldn't do a few of the moves. Colin's coach is one of his kindergarten classmate's Dads, and 2 of his other classmates were on the other team, so he came home all smiles. They were both so sweaty though!!
Now my FIL is over to work with DH and I'm waiting for Chase to hit the wall so he can nap despite all the noise they're making. I could use a nap, too!!

We’re all going out to pick up a steam mop (i’m leaning toward the shark but if anybody recommends the bissel instead, let me know) and some magnets.
Then it’s sushi for dinner. So excited

I ordered a fake diamond wedding set off amazon for $25 bucks to wear in Mexico. I'm terrified to lose my real ones in the ocean. And omg, you wouldn't know they were fake! Gorgeous! I have to send it back for a smaller size, but I'm very happy with them.

We’re on our way to the game. Both kids fell asleep relatively quickly in the car so they’ll get a good nap. Just hitting some traffic now but we have plenty of time so we’ll still get there early. I’m having second thoughts on some things I chose for the basement so we stopped at menards to talk about cancelling part of the order that’s supposed to be delivered next week and changing some things. Dh is no help and I don’t know what to do! flamingo, would you mind if I pm’ed you some design questions later today? |

Took Sinny in for his senior well visit. Should get the lab results in a few days.
Pete took the boys on a donuts/Costco run.
I've quit stressing about the work situation ATM so that either means I'm okay with being a SAHM or my pills have turned me into a numb zombie. Not sure which yet.

Does anyone else ever wonder why other kids like their kid? When C got to the birthday party so many kids hugged him and when new kids would show up they asked where he was. He was like the star of the show. Then he bossed everyone around for an hour and was basically a jerk and a show off. I’ve seen this from him before but the fact that he is so popular when he acts like this just astounds me.

cheeksmum I hope you get a fun day in and then baby comes quickly and smoothly cagoldi I missed the job situation this week but I hope you are able to find peace with what is to come @slene enjoy the game with the kids! wedding I think kids at any age are drawn to the outgoing kids. He'll learn to use his power for good

I think MH and I have a touch of the same thing flamingo is describing. Well I had it lightly early in the week and he has had the man cold version. We are scheduled for a date night tonight and we were going to do Italian but all this talk has me thinking sushi. Today is a kids consignment sale I took clothes and books to. Next week is neighborhood yard sale so I will be purging all week. MH thinks we'll only make life $10 away the yard sale and it isn't worth it. We give away a lot of things and he can suck it up and take the money that we get. |

I’m in Dublin having a good time. We walked around the city on Friday, checked into our room around 3 then took a much needed nap. After that we had a nice Dinner at a good restaurant. Today we went out to breakfast then left the city on a train to a smaller town that had a castle. We toured the castle and surrounding gardens then walked through the town. It was a good day. Now we just got back from dinner. Tomorrow we are taking the train to a waterfront town called Howth and doing a guided hike with a local that we found on airbnb. Then seafront dinner before heading back to Dublin.
I thought my husband was mad to do Dublin in three days but we’ve adjusted to the time change easily so we were able to maximize the time. I guess we’ll see how we feel when we get home.

I'm ringless right now because my hands swell when it's super hot and humid and I panic every 2 minutes that I lost it. I feel naked without my ring. Drives me absolutely nuts. |
