I pulled a mr. wineallthetime last night.. not quite as bad though. We watch my friends daughter and went to dinner. She fell asleep on the way home so I went to their house once we got the boys in pjs to put her to bed since they were going to be late. They got home around midnight and she walked me out to my car. Well we got started talking and A called me at 2:30(!) to make sure I was okay since I wasn't home yet. I didnt end up getting home until 4.. then my sweet husband let me sleep in. But it was so fun and so needed. Boys and I rode around on the golf cart for over an hour. Now we're laying down for naps. Once they fall asleep I'm going to work out. A is finishing installing the washer and dryer in the new house. As long as there is communication, no big. I didn't care MH stayed at his cousins, I just need an up to date update on where he will be cause I worry! I don't need the minute by minute play by play, but I need to know how he's getting home and if he's staying over. Obviously MH was also drinking a lot

Josie did great getting her new haircut. It’s just a trim, but I can already see how much better it looks. And she looked so grown up in the salon. We had a really nice day here. Probably our last day to swim so we took full advantage and hung around outside most of the afternoon. I’m in bed already watching the second season of Atypical.

C was pretty good all day but he was a mess at bedtime and I’m worried he may not be able to go to school tomorrow. Still no fever and he’s eating. He’s just run down. Dh and I both have things in the morning we can’t miss so I’m praying he’s better.

Today turned out better than I thought b/c the Jags beat the Patriots (sorry not sorry if there are any Pats fans here ). We made pomegranate margaritas to celebrate. There is a MOPS group that meets at the church connected to our preschool, and the first meeting of the school year is tmrw. Part of me wants to go, but the other part of me just wants to enjoy a free morning after the last few days. That is one of the reasons I wanted C to have preschool on a non-Monday, so I could do this group (they offer childcare) AND have a free morning. Yes, I want my cake and I want to eat it, too. So IDK what I will do.

The Jags beat the Pats??!! flamingo Wowzers. I am giddy about this because I kinda hate the Patriots. It’s also nice that the Jags are doing well. I have a soft spot for them since having lived in Jax.

MH ended up taking M to work with him and I took M2 to my friend’s house for the afternoon so I could do housework. I got quite a bit done and put dinner on.
I need the kids to go to sleep so I can eat my gelato in peace.

I have a soft spot for them since having lived in Jax. Yes! 31-20...Jags went into the half up 21-3; we gave them a couple turnovers in the 2nd half that allowed them to get within striking distance, but after Jax got the last TD you could see the wind leave their sails. It was great (no love lost for the Patriots in our house, either), although I think the kids now think I'm nuts from all my excited screaming. Bortles (our QB) played one of his best games ever, that I've seen, and the defense was fantastic. I feel like we could make a really good run this season, we shall see...

You at least get to talk to other adults without your kids around.

After work I came home and took a nice long nap. Then DH woke me up and we went to the ILs for pizza. Today was the last warm day, tomorrow starts the week of rain and thunderstorms with cooler weather. I am so ready for it. I do need to get S a raincoat, H has one from last year that will probably still fit her.
