Feeling good. Pretty sure he has decided he’s never coming out though. I had what I think were more contractions last night and they would cause pressure down into my butt/tailbone but I slept okay so who knows. I’m hoping he will be here this week at least. Fingers crossed he comes soon. |

MH slept til 10. I then poured a mimosa and went to my room and closed the door. He came in 30min later saying how tired he was. Then L came in. I promptly refilled my glass and yelled, "I want to lay in bed for 30min. Alone!!!!"

I’m sorry. mskatiep That’s a lot for your family to deal with. I hope your cousin is able to get the help he needs. Sorry about all the sick kiddos last night. Not fun at all. Hope they all recover today. Not cool Mr. wineallthetime. tgrimes I’m kind of jealous of YH right now. Lol. |

We got home around 2 am. I was able to get the boys in without waking them up and hit the pillow soon after myself. So tired this morning. The whole house is now up and I need to get breakfast going. We have to bring Mh to work a little later because we didn’t go get his car since it was too late. I may see if my friend can watch the boys for a couple hours this afternoon because I am tapped out after yesterday.

They think it's a broken shift cable. They are going to call me in about an hour with the final diagnosis. They are also going to do my inspection since mine is expired. That part is basically free because they are running some sort of special. I may have found my new mechanic.

Hi! Took the kids to the zoo on a whim and bought the coolest thing for ds’s birthday. They’re getting new signposts throughout the zoo and selling the old ones. We got the savannah sign for him, picturing a zebra. It’s going to look great in his room! Even I would still put it up somewhere in my house today, so hopefully he will too. Dinner with a friend tonight for the first time after she had her baby girl in April, looking forward to it!

Gear shift cable is damaged. It's of course a special order part, so they can't get it until tomorrow. I did pass inspection though.
So looks like I'll be carpooling with mh tomorrow. They said my car should be fixed late afternoon tomorrow.
Now to find the money to pay for it. 😥

We just finished at a fly in breakfast (lunch I guess) at a little airport nearby. They had dozens of little planes flying in and out all morning. The kids thought t was pretty awesome.
Dh is leaving this afternoon until Wednesday night. I am not excited. It’s my busy time at work, and I’ll have to deal with preschool drop off and pickup Monday and Wednesday and getting to gymnastics and dance on time after work. I don’t feel like I’ll be getting much work done.

C woke up MOTN crying because his throat hurt. Since Dh and I both have hell weeks at work we brought him to urgent care for a swab. It was negative. He’s a bit under the weather but no fevers so I’m planning to send him to school tomorrow. Hopefully he will be all better. I have a lot of working mom guilt lately with all the travel and crazy hours.

I pulled a mr. wineallthetime last night.. not quite as bad though. We watch my friends daughter and went to dinner. She fell asleep on the way home so I went to their house once we got the boys in pjs to put her to bed since they were going to be late. They got home around midnight and she walked me out to my car. Well we got started talking and A called me at 2:30(!) to make sure I was okay since I wasn't home yet. I didnt end up getting home until 4.. then my sweet husband let me sleep in. But it was so fun and so needed. Boys and I rode around on the golf cart for over an hour. Now we're laying down for naps. Once they fall asleep I'm going to work out. A is finishing installing the washer and dryer in the new house. |

We cut out a section of carpet this morning because the cat keeps peeing there. Im pretty sure it's just because there is residual smell so I just wanted to get rid of the section so we can think of what to do next.
Option 1: put an extra strip if carpet there and a bookshelf if she stops peeing
Option 2: replace livingroom and hall carpet with wood or tile and replace the entry and kitchen wood which has places of water damage.
I kind of like the idea of tile instead of wood but we have cold winters and tile might be colder than wood floors
