I don’t remember if I posted or not about this yesterday but the meeting with my director was interesting. He’s considering me for another job within the organization. It will be a lateral move but if I do well he would consider be for bigger things. However, he did mention he wouldn’t want to hurt my current team within the organization so who knows. At least he knows I want to do other things and want to move up. I’m going to wait 6 months and if nothing changes I’ll meet with him again.

Uggghhh tgrimes. When he has drainage, does it usually come when he has a cold/runny nose/etc? Do you have to use the drops every time? I guess the tubes are doing the job, but I’d be not pleased how often it seems he is having the drainage.

You are going to wait 6 months to see if you get this lateral move? Or 6 months to see if you can then move up. I don’t know, i feel like your job is just dicking you around. They obviously don’t understand how to retain and promote top talent.

The ent told me if you see fluid coming out, wipe it away and it comes back an hour later, then it’s infected. But if you wipe it away and don’t see it again for a awhile, it’s just draining and doing its job.

He’s been snotty since Monday. His poor nostrils are all red from his nose currently acting as a faucet.

Anyway, I started the drops last night. I’ll have to call the ENT today for a refill on them so we’ll see what they say...

Originally I was pissed. Because I thought he was offering me a possible promotion then he said the title and I knew it wasn’t.

However this director didn’t realize I had done something else besides my current job. So this would show what I can do outside of what I am doing. Which will show I’m ready for a project manager position. I would get the job in the next month or so. So 6 months either way. That way I’m close to E’s first birthday and I would have used all the paid time off that I get for having her.

She's got it! She hasn't had an accident in like a week or so now. I think it just clicked all of a sudden. Only one in diapers is great, two telling me they need to use the bathroom while we're out and about is an adjustment though!

I pray you get to eat a hot meal while dining out again soon.  Drives me crazy that everytime we are dining out, as soon as food arrives, Evie suddenly has to pee so bad!

cagoldi So happy to see you check in. The outpatient option seems like a good balance, I'm sure it would have been near impossible to have been hospitalized full time. Do you and Pete have good support while you are away?

I agree you need this time without trying to juggle work on top of it. You've mentioned some big life challenges lately, along with the PPD, and no one can handle all those things on their own. Good for you for prioritizing your own health and well-being. The other peices may surprise you by falling into place.

You will get through this. We are always here to lend an ear and some support from around the country (and the Netherlands). #TeamGoldi

The phrase "dinner is ready" is Cadence's poop trigger. Every night. I guess at least she's regular! LOL
