chrisy01, that would really annoy me that they won’t share the information with you. Could you go over the head of whomever you spoke with? No parent should miss any kind of information regarding the care or education of their children if they’re unable to attend a meeting.

dapostrophe Do they keep the babies in a separate area in the gym daycare? They did that at my old gym and It made me feel a little bit better. I went to the gym this morning. Just picked up and Gunner and headed home. I need to clean/vacuum out my car.... also work on my garage, and clean my house. Don’t wanna do any of it. Anyone have any podcast suggestions? I’ve tried starting a few and I had to quit due to hosts having annoying voices. 🤷🏼♀️ lol

Hiiii! It's already been a productive morning and I'm leaving ON TIME today to get to Colin's back-to-school night. They're really good about communicating to us but it's pretty one-way. Plus I want to SEE where he spends his days, so I'm pretty excited. My FIL was spending the morning at our house to work on the murphy bed with DH. My fingers are crossed that it went well - this whole thing has been so stressful for DH, since he's trying so hard not to complain about his Dad. Between the fact that he's doing us a favor and that his heart attack really impacted DH, he's trying not to let this disaster stress him out. On the plus side, he's agreed that we'll be contracting out the deck and master bathroom renos.  |

Anyone have any podcast suggestions? I’ve tried starting a few and I had to quit due to hosts having annoying voices. 🤷🏼♀️ lol I listen to so many. What do you like? My weeklies are always Happier, Happier in Hollywood, Slate’s Mom and Dad are Fighting, Spawned, and Doughboys (but that last one is inappropriate and ridiculous). Gimlet’s Mystery Show is one season and fantastic, so are both seasons of Heavyweight. Sandra was fiction but terrific. I haven’t listened to all of them but Radio Lab and Modern Love are good too. Ive wanted to start Ear Hustle for a while, but haven’t yet. Sometimes if I’m looking for something I don’t want to fully pay attention to but want to be entertained, I’ll try either Raised by TV, Good Christian Fun, or the Gilmore Guys. |

Grandmas number dropped so she gets a blood transfusion saturday.. hopefully that does the trick so she can get treatment Tuesday.

Attorneys are getting new pictures done today. Two women are walking around with their iphone trying to find the perfect lighting....not sure how "professional" these photos are going to be.

guster I liked all the popular ones: Serial, Dirty John, STown.... I like pop culture and neat stories. Medical things. Haha... sorry that is so vague. Try mystery show. It’s sort of every day mysteries but they end up being kind of compelling. Heavyweight is the same way (more emotional, though) but I don’t think he’s as charming as Starlee is. And the episodes are stand alone. |

While waiting for X-ray at the hospital one of Sierra’s classmates was there also waiting for X-ray for different issues. He was the sweetest little boy and his mom was so nice. I kinda wanna send her a friend request on FB but I dunno. I’m weird at making new friends, lol. I didn’t even know he was in her class. The mom said “oh, there’s one of your friends from class”. And then we started talking.

lfig Ha, it's like dating! I think a message on FB would be perfect..."hey, so nice to see a friendly face today, hope Johnny's x-rays come back alright. Would love to get the kids together when everyone is feeling better!" or something like that. It's so hard to connect at drop-off/pick-up, when everyone is in a hurry and/or coming and going at different times. I would not be weirded out at all to receive a msg or friend request in this case.

I really talked to some of the parents yesterday at the birthday party, it was nice to get to know some of them a little better. Drop off and pick ups are indeed way to busy for that.
ETA wouldn’t it be nice if that N13 compound really existed, it would save so much embarrassing complicated small talk!

My grandma reads way to many fear mongering articles on facebook. My cousins baby pulled at her ear ONE TIME and was fussy today. So obviously it's a brain tumor.. She legit is trying to get my cousin to take her to get scanned to see if she has a tumor..

I agree lfig! Facebook her- friend her and message her. Be aggressive!!  lol I have had to put myself out there quite a bit since we’ve moved around several times and people are usually really nice. And she already initiated contact while waiting for the X-ray so she will be happy to hear from you in sure. I will try that one for sure guster!! Thank you! I’ve been watching TV on the iPad or listening to music while doing my stuff around the house and I need a change of pace. wineallthetime I didn’t know you were PT- how’s it going? Giovanna and Gunner just disappeared over to our neighbors. I really like our next door neighbors. Giovanna has become best friends with their daughter. And Jen was my first friend before we even moved here because of our neighborhood Facebook page. She answered my 362552 questions before we moved down here. |
