roguelily, iheartbroccoli, Taitai, have you seen the trailer for Crazy rich Asians? I read all three books at the beginning of this year and was looking at the cast list and I hard the hardest time remembering who was who (things like Araminta and Astrid, who is Bernard Tai? I don't even know!) Sorry I’m late to this- I am so excited after the trailer for CRA. Like, I almost can’t speak about it. And I’m preparing myself for a surge I interest from people who want to visit me afterward, lol. I think it’s going to be absolute pandemonium when it comes out here. But I need to actually go read the first book. I accidentally only read the 2nd and 3rd. Omg - I just watched the trailer. Thank you to this thread for reminding me. I am soooooo excited for this movie. I LOVE that Ken Jeong is in the movie. Squeeeee! I also am glad the release isn’t until August @roguelilly . We’re planning a trip to your neck of the woods for July - so we’ll beat the madness!

I am in the middle of BFG, which I’ve never read, as a “children’s classic” for a reading challenge. It’s pretty hilarious and I should finish it tonight. I also read Maisie Dobbs yesterday. I am a sucker for historical mysteries with women leads. The rest aren’t available in ebook from the library, but if my kids will let me read books again, that series will be on my radar. I big puffy heart love Maisie <3

I've recently read the Erotic Stories for Punjabi women and classic Agatha Christie- Then There Were None. I've been tearing through a few of the Daisy Dalrymple cozies while stress is high and I need something light.

I finally finished I Was Anastasia last night and it was pretty good. It took me a while to get through it (it's from 2 different P.O.V's and I just couldn't fully get into one of them), but I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend if you like historical fiction and/or the Anastasia story
