cagoldi, that breaks my heart for poor A. It’s so hard at this age to help them work through that, I hope he can find his own little group soon.

I'm sorry, cagoldi. Transitions are harder on some kids than others and it SUCKS when your kid is the one having a hard time. I hope A settles in quickly and makes some friends. |

So one of my high school friends posted today on FB that she has to go back to work on Monday or she will lose her job. She had a baby via c-section 6 weeks as of next Monday. I thought all states gave 8 weeks for a c-section. Am I wrong? She’s pretty sad over it. If she works for a small company then FMLA doesn’t apply and they don’t have to legally give her any time off. So maybe it’s a case like that and they are allowing her 6 weeks. |

cagoldi I’m sorry, that is so sad. I would check it with the teachers tough, like others said. Ds told us a little while ago that he only played with the older (6+) kids because he had no friends his own age. His teacher told us this wasn’t the case at all 🤷🏼♀️. ETA as for the sleep part, that just sucks!!!

cagoldi, I Second (third, whatever) what others said - S often tells me he didn't play with anyone... I'll walk in and literally see him playing with someone and then ask him in the car who he played with and he'll say "no one". I'm not saying that's the case, but it might be the case.
