Also flamingo...S goes to bed at 7 - 7:30 usually and because they were messing with her she stayed awake. But as soon as they were done hooking everything up she went to sleep fairly quickly....although basically cried herself to sleep because she hated everything attached to her. But she’s super sensory challenged...lol. And also doesn’t understand things well. I bet B will do great!

They’ll put monitors on his head and chest, and supposedly tubes under his nose to get a read on his oxygen levels. As far as I know they don’t wake him up, though.

H has been pretty naughty at daycare the last week or 2. I don’t know what to do! He’s hit friends, thrown sand and toys, is not listening at all. They remove him from his friends and he’s had timeouts.

Today was bad. He didn’t listen all day and didn’t nap at all. Then he peed his pants and they made it sound like he did it on purpose because he was being stubborn. Ugh.

I talked to him this morning and told him if he had a bad day, he would have to come home and go straight to his crib. So that’s what we did (and I explained what I was doing and why to him). He then proceeded to climb out and come downstairs laughing at me.

Everything is going to shit! 😭

slenle Dude had a phase like that when he was around H's age. He's still challenging but not to the point of throwing shoes at teachers anymore. Hopefully he'll get it all out of his system and settle down soon.

Drowning TW



Weird that you guys were talking about drowning today because yesterday i saw the worst video on fb that i couldn’t unsee. It was a cctv video of a woman with two kids on floaties in a blowup pool. She turns and looks at her phone while one falls in. A lot of time passes and she doesn’t look. The other child tried so hard to get her attention too. It was bad and most likely fatal. I was sorry i watched it.

Ugh, that sucks slenle. L went through a stage like that when she was about 1.5. She was totally the daycare bully. I think she was trying to be the "boss" and push boundaries since C usually kinda pushes her around at home. Luckily she got over it, hopefully H does too!

Tomorrow my baby boy is starting Kindergarten. I already cried today in the car when i was alone. He has a lot of friends in his class plus our neighbor is the T.A. Still though. He’s gonna step onto the school bus tomorrow and enter a whole new world.

We are all checked into our ‘hotel room’ and just waiting for the tech to come wire him up; the ENT made it sound like I’d have a bed, too—false, it’s a pull out chair 😜 There are several other patients here and I was surprised at the quantities of stuff other people brought—multiple big duffle bags for exactly 11 hours, lol. Y’all moving in?

Not much here today. I went to the gym and then got my hair done. I tried to convince we should have a date night tonight since my hair looks good and is actually styled... but alas I’m making spaghetti and salad with a baby strapped to me.

Exciting night here. So last Sunday I went to my neighbors Scentsy party because I was hoping she'd spill on what was going on with her and her boyfriend...and she didnt say shit. We were eating dinner tonight and heard sirens. H went to look out the window and they were stopped in front of her house, 2 police cars, med-act and an ambulance. Her BF has been there earlier, but there is a black skid mark all the way down the drive and the road. We were standing outside, hoping she'd come say something. I sent her a fb message asking if she needed anything...about 20 minutes later, she came out, in handcuffs and got in the back of the police car.

H is trying to get ahold of her BF/ex and make sure hes okay. She has a dog so I hope someone is able to help her with the dog, otherwise I'd take her to make sure shes safe.

Reminder of how distracting cell phones are. I've looked down at mine and then all of a sudden been shocked 5min has passed. I mean, not when my kid is in a pool but still. It's a wake up call to how extremely vigilant you have to be because things can happen so fast.

Yeah, I mean, we are nosey neighbors, but they seemed like nice people and I want to make sure everyone is okay. H sent her BF a friend request on FB which he accepted. So he sent him a message. We looked at our ring and he left about 15 minutes before the police showed up.

H heard from her BF. Yesterday they got into a fight and she slashed his tire. Today when he tried to talk to her about it, she threatened to hurt herself so he called the police.

H told him if we need to go get their dog, to let us know.

Yeah, it's crazy. Based off her recent fb posts, I would guess he cheated on her, or something similar. I told H, when men piss us off, some women go crazy with anger. I've never done anything like that, but the anger has sometimes made me feel like I'm losing my mind.

I'm glad shes safe, wish there was more we could do to help.

B is already asleep (and sawing logs); he did so well with everything but the oxygen sensors in his nose got him a bit teary-eyed. The tech is so sweet and promised him a prize tmrw, and thankfully there’s a DD right near the children’s hospital so we can get his requested b’fast of donuts immediately.
