Last night I felt the strongest kicks and movement so far - this kid is packing it on in there. My H was feeling some of them and could not believe it. It's funny that we went through this before but he is still aghast at the kicks. Lolz.

I have him come over and watch or feel when he's super active (which is practically all the time at this point) and he's always like, "WHOA! That was crazy!" DD was not nearly this active on the inside, she'd have periods of movement and then chill, this kid is practically non-stop when I'm sitting down and really strong.

I’m at my doctors appointment and it’s on the second floor. I’m so out of breath.
Guys, I took the elevator. WTF. I just want to breathe again! 😩

Dramaphile so cute!! I love the cheeks! Dr. Cox I am right there with you on just wanting to breathe! I sound like I am running a marathon most of the time when I am just walking around slowly! X

Those cheeks are adorable Dramaphile! The plague is going around my house and I am so tired of the 27 wake ups every night and washing all the puke stained sheets constantly. This is week 3 and I have lysoled and bleached everything multiple times, then someone else catches it. I’m just praying I don’t get a turn with this. Beginning of the school year germs suck.

My kid-in-utero must be like your DD was- I think MH has only felt him move a couple of times. He’s just not as active and when he is it’s more subtle movements/rolls rather than jabs toward the outside.

summerrain Fx the plague leaves your house soon. I’m really paranoid about having a baby right at the start of flu season this year, and big brother bringing home every germ under the sun from preschool.

Dramaphile The cheeks!!!!! This one moves a ton, but whenever I try to have my H feel her, she stops. She did go to town kicking her sister in the back of the head the other night when DD1 was laying on me.

I’m really paranoid about having a baby right at the start of flu season this year, and big brother bringing home every germ under the sun from preschool. Same. And DD's 3rd birthday is at the end of November, which means we need to figure out what to do for a birthday party. It'll be too cold for an outdoor party (I really wish I'd had summer babies!), and I don't want a ton of people and kids at my house at only a few weeks postpartum because of course we have to invite her whole preschool class (which is only like 7 kids I think) plus some friends, so I guess we need to rent some kind of party venue out, but that still doesn't solve the whole tiny not yet vaccinated newborn during flu season issue...

I feel like ever since officially hitting third tri last week, this baby decided to take up ALL the room in my abdomen, and now I basically get winded moving off the couch.

charlotte I am so paranoid about flu season with an unprotected and possible preemie too. DS1 was also a December baby, but since he was our first it was easier to keep him isolated. Now with two kids in two different schools I am terrified of all the germs. Both kids and I got he flu last year despite getting the vaccine and I was miserable for 2 weeks so I cannot imagine how my little guy would deal. I hate to be that person, but I’m going to be very very careful about who touches him and I will practically Lysol my kids when they walk in the door from school this winter. I just hope DS2 takes after DD more as this is only her second time getting sick since she was born. DS1 on the other hand is literally sick every other week because he’s just that lucky kid.

H has felt baby move a few times, but he’ll feel one nudge and be like, “Cool.” And then walk away 😂 I’ll ask if DD wants to feel her brother and she’s like, “What? Why? PLAY-DOH, WOMAN.” So. Yeah. Whatever, guys.
In utero, DD was pretty chill. She’d just streeeeeeetch and I’d have to massage her feet or hands back in. This guy is constantly rolling and jumping and giving me weird, painful bulges of some kind of body part. He really feels very spastic a lot of the time.

Staring at my CBC results, willing myself to be smart and understand them. lol. Pretty certain I’m borderline anemic. Those related numbers are riiiiiiight on the line to low. I was anemic with DD, too. Nothing I did helped bring the number up.

It’s like a full time job just watching my 2 high energy dogs during the day. I am beginning to wonder how I will make it all work with 3 kids, 2 high energy dogs, and everything else. Anyone else with young high energy dogs?
I love these 2 jerks a bunch but FFS they will find anything to get themselves into trouble!

My 2 dogs are not young, but they are super needy all day and night. I’m still not sure how they will handle a third kid with even less attention. I foresee a lot of rug cleaning in my future because that is how they lash out. FX we both survive the 3 kids and 2 dog future!

FIL’s wife yelled at me for going to a children’s consignment sale tonight. She’s like, “You’re having a sprinkle!”
But, while I created a small registry and just need necessities and clothes, my anxiety thinks my friends and family will all be like, “NO SECOND SHOWERS. RAWR!”
I think TB ruined me for life on this topic.
I have serious fears of my kid not having clothes and being nakey.

Anyone else’s kid all balled up on one side? I literally have zero movement on my left side. He’s all on my right and it makes for very weird bulges only on one side. I feel like I’m walking around lopsided!

I feel like I’m walking around lopsided! Mine is on my right side, so I get his butt shoving up into my ribs on the right and all the kicks are on the left. He's been that way for a while now and seems comfy, so I guess that's where he's hanging out. DD was in the same position for most of my 3rd tri with her, I don't know if it's something anatomical or just that the dog likes to lay against my left side so baby hangs on the right and kicks the dog. I suspect it's the dog's fault lol.

quijibo, I also have a baby who likes the right side. He'll kind of ball up or stick his butt, or something right under the bottom of my right rib cage. Sometimes I also look at my bump, especially in the morning getting out of bed, and I swear it's lopsided.

This baby and DD1 both all up on the right side. Although last night this one felt like she was trying to escape out of my right side. I think she likes to keep her feet and hands by her head though because most movement I still feel low down.
They called today and I have the diabeetus. Barely, by two points. :/
