So-so. We've had some success...and I've cleaned up my fair share of pee

B was basically trained (for #1) in 3 days, and I doubt we'll hit that, but I think she is getting the idea. (He was also 6 or so months older). I kept the potty out in the kitchen with B those first few days, but I think C prefers it to be in the bathroom (which I figured out late today). So that's my plan for tomorrow.

J really really hates the boot.. I'm tired of having to be the bad guy putting it on.. they were wrong and the scheduler wasn't in today so I'm calling first thing in the morning and pleading for an appointment. He keeps crying "I just want my cast"

We had a great time at my Aunts pool party. We ended up staying much longer than I expected. C is such a good swimmer now. The two of us were doing crazy jumps into the pool in the deep end and I had zero worries about it. It was really nice.

Then we came home and did some practice on the bike without training wheels. He’s doing pretty good but needs Dh to run beside him and help when he loses balance. He had a fall and The bike landed on Dhs ankle. He’s now grumpy but I think it’s fine.

Hi! It’s hard taking care of E and LO together. LO goes from being overly affectionate to saying I don’t love him anymore. 😞 I don’t know if I’m going to survive this week.

I have zero athletic ability. Dh is a runner but not an an avid one anymore and that’s about it. I don’t know where he gets it from but it’s amazing to watch. He was alone in the pool for a bit and my aunt asked him if he could swim the length of the pool and he did it and then came back no problem. Everyone was just in awe.

DD is having her first non-cousin sleepover. She was so excited they could watch a “girl movie.” They chose Home Alone lol. They are so cute though. She made a list on her whiteboard of what they would do. It had hair, make-up, slime making, snacks, stay up late, watch movie, go outside, nails, play games. The boys strictly play video games so this is sweet.

For the future, it is super easy to remove the u-joint under a sink to retrieve things. Most things get caught there.

We had such a low key day. I don't know why I'm so tired. Cadence and I woke up at 8, we went to a movie at 11:45, then when we got home I fell asleep for 2 hours. We did Chinese takeout for dinner. The most I've done is a single load of laundry and even that is still in the dryer. I think it was just so hot this morning while we were out hat it just wiped me out.
I'm hoping Cadence is just as tired and goes to bed easily.

tgrimes Cadence was in a mood when we first got there. The waiter was smart and brought the milkshake quickly, but she was just whiny. I thought we were going to need to leave. Then her fruit bowl came so she was perfectly fine after. Towards the end she was on my lap, not really paying attention, but she's like that for most movies.


ETA: the actual movie was cute and I liked it
