MH took C to the air show, so it's me and the little 2! Hoping L naps soon. She and I ran to Aldi earlier, I'm loving that store now!

The girls had a great time this morning with the hot air balloons. We saw a bunch land and they got to help package up the balloon. They were in heaven.
MH found out he could get a balloon for $10k. 🤨

We took the kids to the zoo and my sister and her boyfriend are coming over for dinner. Since we were out all day cooking wasn’t really feasible, so I got nice charcuterie, cheese, stuffed portobellos and other little bits and bobs. I’m exhausted, so hopefully it’ll be fun, but not to late 😉.

We're at FIL's. The boys are kicking the soccer ball around out front while Miss P naps.
Once X is asleep, I'm taking Dude to check out which class he's reporting to tomorrow (they didn't post it until five PM Friday, along with the supply list) and then back to school shopping.
We'll take X out for chow mein tonight because it's something he actually eats.

Easy day here. Laundry, Aldi run, cake box cookies and vegging in front of the TV. Layla is currently watching some vintage Disney cartoons that I remember from childhood so not too annoying.

Mostly errands today - laundry, Costco and the grocery store - and lunch on the covered deck at our favorite summer spot. I spent at least an hour and a half after that trimming bushes and weeding beds, so I am zonked and hoping to keep up with the boys. No big plans tonight but we're going to the museum and the awesome playground right next to it tomorrow.
