Good luck peachsmama. I hope it's nothing but better to know. I went for 2 weeks with a broken arm when I was 10 and played in a basketball game. 🤷♀️ Kids are something else with that kind of stuff. Ride Peter Pan's Flight for me today chrisy01. |

It's the annual Art & Air Festival this weekend. The hot air balloons always go right over my parents house and the girls love seeing it. Last night we made it in time to see the night glow (walking around with the hot air balloons all lit up in the dark), but the traffic going that direction was insane so we opted out because we couldn't handle being in the car any longer.
Maddie was hoping she was old enough for a free airplane ride but she has to be 8 so she has to wait 2 more years.
The Goo Goo Dolls are playing at the concert tonight. The freaking Good Goo Dolls. 16 yo me is squealing and can't believe they are playing in her rinkydink hometown.

Cat woke me up at 6:30 licking my face. I rolled over, so she climbed over me to continue licking my face. Not cool cat, not cool.
So, I'm here at Cadence's last gymnastics class at the preschool level, next weekend she moves up to 101.
Then we're headed to the grocery store and swim class is at 1.

Potty training live blog:
Upside: no accidents
Downside: She refuses to sit on the potty. Hasn't peed since around 8:30, right before I took the diaper off.
I just gave her some juice, hopefully we can get this party started. In the meantime, I'm online shopping. Sorry, DH, this could be an expensive house-bound weekend.

Somehow I missed what happened originally, but is there any way this could be a toddler fracture? They are hairline spiral cracks; I had no clue C could have broken her leg from the way she fell back in December, but she wouldn't put weight on hers and that was what clued us in that something was wrong. Sure enough...a walking boot for Christmas. They are super common at his age. I'd take him in for X-rays JIC. He was kicking a ball at the park and his foot went up on the ball and he fell on the concrete. The way he landed I thought he broke his arm. It was sprawled out behind him and he wouldn't get up. But once I sat him up he moved his arm fine. But couldn't put weight on his leg. He's putting a little weight now but holding onto stuff to walk and just barely putting weight on it. Idk. A thinks I'm over reacting.. I'd take him in that way there are no questions. A copay is cheaper today than if you wait longer and he requires extra work |

With both legs side by side his knee is swollen. Just got xrays so we're waiting on those now.

Good morning! I am in detox and cleaning mode today after drinking way too much and staying up way too late the past few days. I hope i can get all the stuff done around the house that i said i would before my family returns. I haven’t done shit yet.

inthekitty we have the balloon glow and race in 2 weeks. I was kind of bummed that I realized it was the night E is scheduled for babysitter night but then I remember traffic and I don't miss it. But maybe we'll do it for date night

Well unfortunately none of us were over reacting.. his tibia is fractured, the angle of the xray looks like the fibula might be as well and his growth plate at his tibia and foot is damaged. So we're waiting on the xray disk and heading to children's to get casted. This urgent care only does splints and since his growth plate is damaged that's not enough.
Thank you thank you thank you for the advice to take him in. I cant imagine how much pain he would be in if we waited.
