Waiting for the post office to open now. Then I'm going home to work out. Having lunch with my sister-in-law later. I bought her a necklace with the baby's name on it, so I wanted to give that to her when on a day she was working from home.

Hi, all! Video call job interview this morning, and I really should give that some consideration.
We've had a comedy of errors with the job I really want. I got a call from the university on Monday but was out. Son answered and told the caller that I'd call back when I got home. Didn't get a name. Phone number listed was the main switchboard, so they had no clue where to direct me. The caller said she'd call back, but one of the girls must have messed with the house phone first thing yesterday morning, so it was off the hook all day until close of business when we finally noticed. Hoping I get a call today, that's for sure!
Apart from that, we're having a quiet day. It's overcast and windy, but if it clears we're going to the splash pad.

Hi ladies. SSDD here. Found out I have a meeting this morning. Perfect. I was really hoping that rather than be productive and get to knock down my mounting pile of work that instead I could vacantly stare off into space for a couple of hours and fight sleep.  |

Morning! Kind of a weird morning here. Someone had a seizure on the bus on the way to work, so it was kind of crazy. Luckily we were right near the emergency room, so they driver just drove there and there were nurses and techs on the bus who helped run in for a stretcher and carry her off the bus. I hope she's ok. I don't know a lot about seizures, but when they took her off the bus it looked like it had passed but she was unresponsive. I don't know if that's normal or not...

J slept in and seems fine now and I'm trying to frantically catch up on work that I've neglected lately. Also need to work on my final exam paper for this course that's due on Friday..

S has been complaining for the past few days that his butt itches very badly. Its happened occasionally in the past, usually when he hasn't been wiping well. I keep checking, and that's not the case. I wiped it with a warm washcloth and that seems to help, but only momentarily.
Any clue why this is happening? It was so bad this morning he was almost in tears. I feel badly for him. And we're gonna be on a plane where he can't get up and move about or scratch it, that does not sound fun.

I put Desitin on him before bed if he tells me he's itchy/uncomfortable and he says that helps. |

Morning! Went to a play area in the dunes with friends and their daughters this morning, we had so much fun! Ds was so happy to see his friends  . I picked my mom up from work (daycare co-director) and the kids loved it, I mean wouldn’t you if this was your grandma’s workplace  ?! Poof |

You work at a certain, unnamed university medical complex the size of a small city, right? She had it in the right spot then. But still. |

Finally some full day sunshine here. We’re hanging out here to swim (and weed and power wash) all day then going to dinner to celebrate our closing! It all went off without a hitch, and because they took so long to actually close we ended up with more money than expected. Definitely a celebration!

I apply coconut oil and he says that helps. |
