I’m taking C for his ear recheck in a few. It’s still raining so I may take them to the movies. Gym/hockey later. DH finally went back to work today. Hopefully he does ok, the rain will make it hard for him to find a cab/Uber if he can’t walk.

Morning, all! I'm taking S over to a friend's house. She's an elementary music teacher, and she's going to evaluate S's music readiness for lessons and such. It's still a little early, but we'd like some guidance regarding when to start and what instrument.

Other than that, not much scheduled. I need to make a doctor's appointment for my shoulder. S wanted me to swing on the monkey bars with her this weekend. It didn't end well. I hope it's just soreness and not a muscle tear.

We're supposed to close on the townhouse today. My realtor has been texting me since about seven this morning. She means really well, but the way she handles things is such drama. The lawyers paralegal is fantastic at keeping me updated in a very efficient and calm fashion, and I can't wait till the office opens at nine to talk to her about any last minute details.

It’s a RI holiday so my work is closed and so is daycare. I had s horrible nights sleep and want to take a nap but C explicitly told me that if no one is watching him that he will get into trouble. He’s like a mind terrorist sometimes.

We’ve already gone to breakfast and groceries and it’s only 9. We are meeting my cousin and her son this afternoon. It was supposed to be at the zoo but it’s raining so probably an indoor play space. I’m definitely going to need a nap before that.

Morning. The countdown is on 2 weeks till school starts, I’m so ready. I woke up with a giant headache so hopefully that doesn’t last all day. Not sure what we will do today, probably play in the backyard.

I had a make out dream with one of my bosses. No sex, but its making me feel awkward being here. I of course googled what that sort of dream meant and it said that that person usually have traits you want in yourself, or something to that effect. I had just mentioned on Friday that this particular attorney looked like he had lost a lot of weight. Clearly I'm jealous and in dream world that means get in the backseat of his truck and make out with him. I haven't made out with anyone in a looooooooong time, so I'm feeling confused as to if I liked it or not....thus, the awkwardness.

Morning!

We were going to do the wildlife park today but weather is iffy so we’re going to stay closer to home. I want the kids to burn off some energy before being in the car all day tmrw so we might do a little light hiking or something.

My cousin’s birthday dinner was last night and we went back to their house for cake afterwards. B was so excited to celebrate with her, so I was glad we could be here for that.

Hope everything goes smoothly this morning guster! I am also anti-drama...just do the job you’re being paid to do, Realtor, I don’t need all the nitty gritty and doomsday scenarios.

My old manager used to have sex dreams about coworkers all the time. She thought they were hysterical and would tell me, then I would feel all sorts of awkward around that person. Sending sympathy because I can't even imagine the level of disaster I'd be if the dreams were actually MINE.

Morning from the office! I'm only in 2 days this week plus I'm working from home on Wednesday. I'm a bit stressed because I have more to do than I could possibly get to in a 5 day week, but in 3 days. And today is going to be a whole lot of following up with other people and trying to make sure my manager is back up to speed. I kind of enjoyed running things solo!

I narrowly avoided Colin going to school in head-to-toe red this morning. Different shades, no less. He wanted to look like Spiderman but fortunately he was willing to change his shorts when I reminded him that Spiderman's legs are blue. I've argued with him over clothes before but really I just need to make him think that it's his idea to change, it's so much more peaceful! Or he's maturing... We had a really good talk last night before bed about how he's going to stick close to his friend N in kindergarten when he's feeling nervous, but that he wants to make lots of new friends and hopefully be friends with his whole class.

Also Chase is officially out of the highchair and in the booster seat at home. He fit fine in it (it's the spacesaver one) but we moved Colin over at 2 and Chase is really into being a big kid right now, so it seemed like as good a time as any. But he looks so grown up sitting at the table! Sigh...

ladystrat ouch! I was a monkey bar fool as a kid. Now I don't even try because I just can't do it. My boobs are too big and I don't have the grip strength. Our bodies definitely let us know our age now and then.

Maddie has a short dentist appointment this morning. After that I don't know. The responsible thing would be to unpack. But I kind of want to go to IKEA to get some household items. It's about a 45 minute drive so it'd take a chunk of time.

joelies that seems like a long time for the high chair! We hated ours though, so N has been in a booster since basically she turned 1.

J really likes dressing in ALL green. I am realizing I need to just buy options that I don't mind looking at and let him pick out. I do pick out for weekends though if we have plans that involve seeing friends.

Working from home with N. She isn't eating much but no fever or puke today. We are on day 3 of GF for her, it's not too hard minus snacks. Apparently we feed them tons of carb snacks.

I just signed up for swim lessons through the county. I had a calendar reminder and was 10 min late and there was only 1 spot available on Saturday for j...for the second session starting in Nov. I signed N up for aquatots too. He wants to do gymnastics instead of soccer, so I need to line that up next.

I go in to work late today because the machine is not fixed. I had grand plans of painting today, but I didn’t get enough done this weekend and I have other things I need to get to. I hate when I make a plan to do something, then I can’t get to it.

I also was up in the middle of the night for a couple hours because I couldn’t go back to sleep. Just general anxiety about what I need to do and not having the time to do it. I think I’ll schedule some days off next month so I can finish some things. I have to look at my calendar to make sure I don’t need the days for something else.

Boys are at the sitters. I need to work out and actually work. I bought a shelf I need for the boys playroom off facebook market place this morning. I've been pricing them and only found them for $65. This one is in new condition for $25 so I'm happy about that.

I am beyond frustrated. The Airbnb site we stayed in the first week is denying our alteration/partial cancellation request. She had a flexible cancellation policy which states that if you leave earlier (for whatever reason) you would get 100% refund for the days not stayed. Based on that we booked another property. Airbnb is now asking for pictures of the tic bites and medical records. You know, since I have a medical record for every tic bite and in stead of removing the tics and keeping my family safe, I was busy gathering evidence by taking pictures of the bites just in case my host would not refund me... this is costing me over €700,-.

I'm annoyed at my daycare. H moved up to the next room today but no one told me. There's not a fridge in that room so I'm sure his food will be gross by lunch time. They also can't have a paci at naps anymore. There's been some teacher shuffling because 2 were fired and 1 quit. I'm not happy with the new arrangement.

H's teacher is brand new. When I went in the room all of the kids were crying. I feel so bad for him.
