I’m sitting in my car in my driveway waiting a few minutes before heading to a friend’s house. My H is taking his final exam today and had to use an online proctor who watches him the whole time, so I have to leave the house with E for 3 hours.

Here. Tried to get a workout in and took A to the daycare. Only I had to pee mid class (thanks, twinnies) and she saw me. Cue hysterical crying fit, so I had to leave mid class. Maybe I will get back tomorrow without kids ...

Good luck to your dh bethkate! Interesting set up with an online proctor, I've never heard of that before. cdnfarmgirl, already been a long day, eh? We're just hanging out. I drank about a half a glass of wine too much without enough dinner so I have my first post baby hangover (very mild, just a headache). Today we have my work summer BBQ, so it'll be nice to see some people I haven't seen for awhile. And remind myself of the names of all the new people 🙄 first we have to go to my parents so my mom's friend can meet Jojo for the first time. It's not ideal timing, but we'll make it work. This is all after nap #2.

Sorry that you had to leave bethers. I take DD to a mommy and me bootcamp and she hates that too even though we're in the same room together 😒

Hi I'm here! Lazy weekend so far. AJ has been attached to me and screams when I leave his sight.. so that's been fun. I'm hiding in the bathroom right now while H tries to distract him

Hello! I went for a run this morning then took the boys to the farmers market and grocery store. DH and I are heading to the state fair with our friends tonight to eat a bunch of food and see Foreigner. I’m so excited!

Sorry that you had to leave bethers. I take DD to a mommy and me bootcamp and she hates that too even though we're in the same room together 😒 I was considering whether I could hold her during the rest of class. Had it been leg work, yes, but we were doing glutes and core on the floor - she would have been crawling onto everyone!

Made pancakes, watched a Parenthood episode, ordered a few uniform pieces for 1 and polos for my brother's wedding, and working on another cabinet in the kitchen. Productive so far, considering every time 3 or 4 look at me they want to nurse, not too shabby.
Taking the boys to see MIL, who had surgery yesterday.
Open houses for 1 (1st) & 2 (pm preK) are Monday and Tuesday. My babies. 😢

Hi. I took the baby for a 4 mile run this morning then we just drove around aimlessly while the girls took their midday naps in the car. We're going to blow up E's bounce house today. Not much going on here.

Good luck to your H bethkate! Add me to the list of mums of clingy babies. I am loving the cuddles but trying to put her down is a nightmare. She is 9 months old in a week so her timing is spot on...

H went to his overnight sailing course so I am solo till 6 or 7 pm tomorrow. But we have a fun day planned. Both girls slept till after 7 and bevause of my early work days, I fell asleep at 9. So that was fantastic.
We are at the Y for A's swim class, then after she plays on the playground for a bit we are heading to get her first haircut (at 4.5, lol, but she has great hair that hasn't needed anything). Then we will pick up lunch and head home for nap, then we are going to my friend's house for a play date/dinner. My other good friend is coming so I'm excited! Should be a good day.

We finally got the aircon fitted today so of course it was only 20° 🤦♀️ but this also means BabyWaffle is permanently moving to her bedroom tonight.
Wish me luck as the clinginess is made worse by the sniffles...

He just finished nursing, so I figure I have a few minutes at least.

Sounds like a nice night thatgolfb! Add me to the clingy baby club. H definitely favors me over MH or anyone else for that matter. My kid fought his afternoon nap hard and just fell asleep on me 3.5 hours later. I hope this doesn't screw up bedtime. We went to the farmers market earlier and out to lunch with my parents. H was up at 6 this morning and I was really looking forward to napping when he napped but it's too late for me now. Anyone prep batches of things to be used throughout the week for meals? I normally prep components but cook each night. Lately it feels like after cooking, cleaning up, bath and bedtime routine the night is over before we have a chance to relax. Trying to find some ways to make life easier.

Trying to find some ways to make life easier. This is me as well during the school year. And one of the reasons I have a difficult time finding a place to work out. Once we are home, dinner is made, it’s time for the kids to start getting ready for bed. Then its bottles/lunches for the next day. I sit down about 7:30-8:00 and go to bed about 9. It’s really hard to get a chance to just relax. I really haven’t found a way to fix this. I do pick out my clothes for the week on Sunday and meal plan. But that doesn’t help much in the prep.

sarahandben108 I'm thinking of prepping meal components on Sunday and then we throw together various meals throughout the week. This week I'm grilling a bunch of chicken, onions and peppers, making a batch of rice, prepping salad stuff, and doing barbacoa beef in the crock pot. I figured we can have salads, burrito bowls, quesadillas/tacos, or just protein and veggies. I'll see how it works but I also need more ideas lol

bethkate or cnf what do you use to hold your phone when you run? I have a flip belt. I love it. It holds my phone, keys, chapstick, and any fuel I might bring with me on longer runs.

Welp, we officially have a furniture cruiser. He just walked the long length of our sectional couch and back. You just turned 9 months yesterday kid, slow down! He was also lifting his legs to try to climb the front of the couch to get my bag of chips. Guess we know what motivates him.
