My sister found out during our girls night on Friday that she's pregnant (yup, she took a test.. well, 3.... during our girls night)! I pretty much always have a sister pregnant...

@klongoria for shoes for the SMO’s check out Nike, they make a shoe for them! I actually think you may have shared a link for them to me a while back. I also had luck with NB shoes. Basically I sized up and removed the insole. It made room for the bulkiness that way.

Hi from the office. AF is finally over and thank goodness, it really wiped me out. Of course now DH is getting sick, and he obviously can't help with the kids while he has a man cold. Or that's sure what it seems like. I feel like I'm very fake-it-until-you-make-it with our relationship right now and it's as if he's actively TRYING to thwart my efforts.

Colin starts school in 3 weeks from today and I'm feeling really emotional. Chase, on the other hand, is fully embracing the terrible twos and I'd be happy to send him off. J/K... Mostly.

Hey. I’m crabby at my children. H has been misbehaving since she woke up so she’s taking a nap. I’m basking in the quietness right now.

Thrilling, terrifying, potato, potatoe.

I legit lost J at the aquarium. We were by the sea horses and he was sitting on this fish you take pictures with and M was looking at the sea horses. I turned to take a pictures of M and turned back and J was gone. My friend, her H and their 1 year old was with us. So she took M and he had their daughter and I ran all the way back to the entrance. We were about 1/3 through. and then back and 3 or 4 exhibits past where we were. Nothing. I was screaming his name hysterical the entire time and I did this about 5 times. Back and forth. And not a single person tried to help or stop me to ask what he looked like or anything. I finally went even further past where we were so more than half way through the aquarium and saw him with an employee. She was sitting beside him on the floor. He was red faced and scared but not crying. Until we saw each other. Then we both burst into tears. Worst 10-15 minutes of my freaking life. I've never been so scared. All I kept thinking was "he's gone, he's gone, someone grabbed him and now he's gone" Because he seriously just vanished. I have no idea how he got so far so fast..


We had a long conversation on the way home about not wondering away from mom and making sure they can always see me. But also that he did the right thing by talking to an employee and then I made them repeat "My mommy is Abby" over and over and over.

@peachs Img terrifying, so glad you found him! I had this once in a zoo with dd, I took my eyes of her for 10 sec, I found her at the top of a huge staircase... seriously these kids are going to kill us one day!

Hi!!! Went by LO's school and got his school supply list. I asked if there was anything else I could get and the teacher and the director both gave me hugs. They did have a few more things and they never had any parent ask if they could provide mor before.

I'm currently in my car at Disneyland feeding E. there is a group of women parked next to me and the driver keeps staring at us. I want to tell them it's my legal right to feed my kid. Stop staring. But I don't want to disturb E.

peachsmama I'm sorry for the freak out. Madison used to hide from me in stores and scared the ever-loving shit out of me on several occasions. It's an awful feeling. It's good that you're teaching J your name and who to ask for. When we went to Disneyland earlier this year when we were waiting in line to first enter the park I realized I should have ordered those tattoos you can have made with parental contact info. Since I didn't have it I successfully taught the girls MH's cell number. Every now and then I ask them again and they still have it down. Gives me some peace of mind.

Same shot, different day around here. School drop offs, gym, target, BBM, lunch, another school drop off, naps, school pickup, dinner. That’s my life on repeat Monday through Friday. Except switch out target with whatever errand I need to run. It’s ok though, we do good on a schedule.

So, I think I can officially say C is crawling. Not super coordinated yet, but she definitely moving. And she’s trying to get her feet under her, so I’m sure pulling up on stuff isn’t too far behind.

peachsmama That's terrifying. I'm so sorry. Did he find the employee or did she find him? M at least knows my name but she doesn't know my phone number. Guess I need to teach her that and what to do if she ever gets separated from us.

ETA.  I can't believe no one helped you.  If I saw a woman screaming someone's name I'd immediately start helping her look for them or find security to help out.  Something!

chrisy01 I bought Sierra’s school supplies the other day and I automatically bought double of everything. I am certain that there will be kids that don’t have everything so I wanted to provide extra. The program S is going into is aimed at lower income and at risk kiddos. S is considered “at risk” because of her special needs, that’s how she got in since we make way more than the income guidelines. So hopefully my extra purchase will help someone out.
