I'm here. Just finished my workout. Going to hang by bed clothes on the line and shower. Meeting a friend that's in from out of town for lunch. I can't wait to see her! The last time was at her grandmother's funeral so I'm glad this is a happy occasion.

Crazy week here. B's B-day is Wednesday, and I took the day off for his Pedi appt and to get some stuff done before the weekend

We have tons of family coming in to town, starting Thursday. We will have 11 people (including us) staying in our house, and S will be sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor in B's room to make room for everyone. Should be interesting. We also have a work family picnic on Friday that I have to be at (with H and the kids) so we are sending all the OOT guests into the city on Friday for the day.

So when I go back to work I get to make my own schedule. As long as I work at least 8 hours a day, 5 days each week. No more weekends (might need to cover one every once in awhile but not often). Also they are going to try and create a manager position for me. So I might be staying in the department.

I'm hopeful for the possible changes but I'm still going to interview just in case when they schedule it.

I'm trying to prove to my benefits Dept that I have a master's degree and I'm super annoyed..and apparently the pictures from graduation have vanished (or my sis took them and I can't find shared albums any more). I'll prob have to order a transcript. Oh and mh seems to have Lyme's, he's thankfully going to the doctor this afternoon. Muscle aches and joint issues.. hoping a round of abx will kick it if that's it🤞

Morning! It was a little cooler this morning, so we hung out in the yard and I repacked the majority of our clothes, Wednesday were going to the last little house for 4 nights and I had the urge t organise the mess. We went to some sort of miniature zoo, it was beyond boring 😂😂😂. Burgers on the menu tonight. I’m missing cagoldi’s menus, they usually show me how much more inventive I could be as a cook!

Nothing but work today. I need to sign M up for soccer at some point today. I have back to school night later. I have to rush to pick M2 up and bring him home before heading to M's school. So busy evening, but I'm looking forward to meeting M's teacher.

Hello from Vacationland. It's another warm day here. Mom and I just finished ordering newborn pics that my sister had done, and now Mom is trying to get C down for a nap. Both kids were up at the ungodly hour of 5:30--it gets light here so early that even with blackout blinds in their room they are up with the sun--so she is more than due for a snooze. 

No big plans today that I know of.

Not that we know of. He has dark leg/arm hair, so it'd basically be impossible to find a little one on him. We went hiking last month and used heavy duty bug spray, but Lyme is rampant in our area and the ticks can be super tiny 😟. My uncle is a Lyme specialist and my dad has had a bad case of it, so at least we are prepared.

Also I took j to target this weekend and picked up some "dress" shoes (basically hightops) for an event next month. Kid is in size 1! I then inspected his running shoes and they are way too small, whoops! Need to get those replaced asap. I'm a bit sad to graduate from the toddler section

Turns out we didn’t have a line running from the box to our house for this company so now we have a cable running across the back yard until the company can get out here to bury it. This afternoon I need to run to the store to pick up some things. I invited a few friends over to watch the bachelorette finale, so excited #teamblake.

I apparently waited too long to sign M up for soccer. We are waitlisted. Oh well. If he doesn't get on for this season, the same league does a developmental class for his age at his school one day a week, so I'll sign him up for that.

tallb, Lyme scares me so much. I have a little second cousin that has been suffering with it for almost 2 years now. She gets better for a while and then regresses. Pain, fits of rage, extreme exhaustion. I hope it's not lyme, but if it is, I'm glad you guys have experience/resources.

Hello! I thought it was going to be a quiet day with our Calgary office closed and I swear I'm only now able to catch my breath. Thankfully I was supposed to spend the entire afternoon recording a webinar with another coworker but we can't because of some random red tape BS. Except I'm honestly relieved because I have a few other things to do before the end of the day!

I realized this morning that I forgot to move Chase out of his highchair and into the booster seat. He'll also be in a crib forever, just due to his Mom's laziness and/or forgetfulness... I don't feel bad though, he keeps sending me to time out and laughing his little butt off. LOL.

Hi! trtlcrzy I have the internet guy here too! Our internet was so slow and our modem was like ten years old, so I was going to go ahead and cancel and try a different company. But they convinced me to stay by sending us a brand new modem for free and tripling our internet speed. Sold.

Lucas goes back to school today so all three kids are back!!!! Ry only goes in the afternoon, but still..... so much easier to do all the things with just C!!

I don't see this as a "forget" thing.  I See this as a do it as long as they will allow you thing.  S stayed in his crib till just before his 3rd birthday.  He never tried to climb out, he just got too big for it.  As to the booster, B sort of wants to move to a booster, or actually just to sit freely, but I prefer him in the high chair b/c his mess is more contained.

joelies ds was in his crib until a week before his fourth birthday, he didn’t want a big bed, he never climbed out, so I figured ‘pick your battles mom’ 🤷🏼‍♀️.

wow nam2013! I thought we lasted long till his 3rd birthday!! How nice to have him contained!!!

What's funny is we went from a crib to a giant full size bed that is super tall. Talk about 1 extreme to the other!

B turns 2 on Wednesday and for some reason I am struggling with this birthday. Usually I don't get emotional around the kids' birthdays. Maybe it's cuz he's my last, and 2 seems like such a "kid" not a baby anymore.

I dunno. I'm not ready for this! I miss my baby!!!

jewels I know! Him being relatively small has its perks . He’s now in one of those Ikea beds that can grow with him, his room is just to darn small to give him a full size bed now and I don’t want to move him. I mean he’d be a whole flight of stairs away from me 🙄.

And I know what you mean with turning two, it somehow means your baby isn’t a baby any more.

Hi all. Just another Monday here. I’m in a much better mood than yesterday and there was no yelling at my kids this morning which is a good start to the day. Lol.

Busy- ish day at work. Stuck on the phone with IT trying to get something fixed.. again

tallb I’ll join you on the giant kid feet bench. I bought B 1’s in some Sperry’s in the late spring (the grown up kind without Velcro 😭) and the ones I just bought for C are 9’s! 9!! 😳 She was in 5’s last fall so this blows my mind. I hope she will slow down.
