tallb I’ll join you on the giant kid feet bench. I bought B 1’s in some Sperry’s in the late spring (the grown up kind without Velcro 😭) and the ones I just bought for C are 9’s! 9!! 😳 She was in 5’s last fall so this blows my mind. I hope she will slow down. Holy Cow about C!!! S is wearing 10s!! Although I think B is catching up to him, he's already getting into 7.

N is in 2t but she's pretty tall

Hi all! Holiday Monday here; MH is being a grump and J’s napping so on a whim i’m taking B down to Heritage days, 100 different countries with 71 outside pavilions! Food, dance, culture! Yes please. Although I think the bus ride is just as exciting for B!

I just measured her the other day (or attempted to...getting that kid to stand still requires an act of God) and she appeared to be a hair under 36”. I guess I’ll do 3T for fall/winter? 🤷🏻♀️ I was shocked by the 9, I re-measured her about 5 times. She was in 7s earlier this summer so we completely skipped 8s.

I took DS1 to an appointment this morning, then DH to recheck his stitches (he has to go back again Wednesday and he can still barely walk), and I’m taking C back in at 4 because he’s still a cranky mess and I’m worried his ear infection isn’t clearing up. Later is hockey/gymnastics. Puppy is being crazy so I’m sure she will be limping again later.

Hello! I thought it was going to be a quiet day with our Calgary office closed and I swear I'm only now able to catch my breath. Thankfully I was supposed to spend the entire afternoon recording a webinar with another coworker but we can't because of some random red tape BS. Except I'm honestly relieved because I have a few other things to do before the end of the day! I realized this morning that I forgot to move Chase out of his highchair and into the booster seat. He'll also be in a crib forever, just due to his Mom's laziness and/or forgetfulness... I don't feel bad though, he keeps sending me to time out and laughing his little butt off. LOL. I don't see this as a "forget" thing. I See this as a do it as long as they will allow you thing. S stayed in his crib till just before his 3rd birthday. He never tried to climb out, he just got too big for it. As to the booster, B sort of wants to move to a booster, or actually just to sit freely, but I prefer him in the high chair b/c his mess is more contained. Chase faceplants into Colin's bed daily. He wants a big kid bed so badly! We need to anchor the furniture and convert the bed, which is something my FIL would normally help with. Except he's busy with the murphy bed and I DNW to pull him away from that. I'm already half convinced that's never going to be finished.

We easily could have just rode into the city, gotten ice cream, and came back home and he would have been thrilled!

It has been closed for a little under two years for renovation and was supposed to re-open in January. Ds has been counting the days. We just heard the re-opening is postponed until July 2019...

Back from E's appointment. 23.5"/90th and 12.9 lbs/80th. She got 4 vaccines, 3 were shots. He said she was doing well and she might not have a dairy issue. Give it a few more days dairy free and then slowly reintroduce.

Glad to hear she might be cleared for dairy! I bet that makes life easier on you.

Hello Ladies! Busy day today. We had a play date with friends back from Indonesia, my sister stopped by with a belated bday gift and I almost missed Bea's appt but I'm here. My house is a wreck from our busy weekend, so at some point I need to get on that.

tallb I hope your H is ok! What is the treatment/recovery plan for Lyme? My FIL is in Africa and got Malaria last week. He goes often and this is his first time getting it, so he was lucky for a long time. I am amazed by the treatments they have for diseases that very recently used to kill people (and still do).

Oh goodness! Hope he recovers quickly. I remember having to swallow malaria pills when I was 9 and it was miserable, they were huge. For Lyme's you get doxi abx but often people have it undetected for years and have all sorts of random symptoms. He has to wait a week for blood work, so we shall see if that is what it is.

Sounds like they are about the same size...your arms must get tired like mine do 😉 She got 5 vaccs today: 4 shots and 1 oral. I wonder which one we got that you guys did not.

So if you catch it quickly enough, will he recover completely? I never understood the ongoing symptoms, so I am asking the expert. Well, the relative of the expert 😉

Y’all...I hit my foot on the chair earlier today. It’s in the side where you would normally sprain your ankle. On my left foot I have a random bone that protrudes out in that area so of course I hit it right in that bone. Twice.
I was fine. It hurt but i was fine. I just went to the grocery store and could barely walk. Wtf.
It’s only a little swollen, not bruised but it hurts like a mo fo.
I’m clumsy AF. H is snuggling me while I ice my foot.

We dropped C with my cousin and did a little shopping in town today. I bought the children some things, including a book about volcanoes for B. It was marked down and I literally added it on to my purchase at the very last second, and wouldn't you know that is the thing he is most obsessed with. I could've gotten off for 5 bucks, lol.
Now we are about to load the kids into the outdoor shower and hopefully put them to bed; it is already past C's bedtime but she napped late so is still in a marginally decent mood.

Hi ladies. Glad to hear you have happier career life balance prospects when you return to work chrisy01! We're in a moving haze. Packers came today and there's a few boxes left to finish. We go to a hotel tomorrow. Can't wait for it to be done. Of course title company won't schedule signing until the last minute. Hopefully we can move in Friday. Getting really excited our meet up will actually happen in the spring.

Back home. We stopped at my Mom's house for lunch and a quick visit before finishing the drive.
As soon as I walked in the door a coworker texted that she heard the attorneys saying the "clutter" needs to get cleaned up, blah blah blah. It's basically boxes that they want off-site, but if they don't get rid of stuff there is no room off-site. But, it all falls on me. I wish she hadn't texted at all because it put me in a foul mood. Thanks for ruining my vacay coworker. 😒
