DH is stressing me out. We have always lived well within our means but he sometimes just seems to lose track of his spending and needs help paying the credit card bills. I don't mind since he covers vacations, car maintenance, etc., but the last minute freakout is so annoying

For Lyme's you get doxi abx but often people have it undetected for years and have all sorts of random symptoms. He has to wait a week for blood work, so we shall see if that is what it is. So if you catch it quickly enough, will he recover completely? I never understood the ongoing symptoms, so I am asking the expert. Well, the relative of the expert 😉 Ha! Def not an expert, but I do have some experience with it. For some people a round of abx is all that's needed. It's super strong, I took it once for a few days and had crazy insomnia until the tick came back negative for Lyme's. From my understanding for people that didn't know they had it for years, it can be really hard to identify it and then some symptoms can persist for years and it's a longer road to recovery. One friend threw up every day at the same time...and that was it, so random. There is also a huge medical field debate about approaches to treating it. My uncle is a naturopath, so most insurance won't cover it since some doctors don't seem to believe some symptoms can be tied to Lyme. Apparently a family friend basically had bells palsy and half her face lost all muscle...turns out it was Lyme and now that she's had treatment, she looks normal again. I wish all bites had the bulls eye, but not all do. And ticks can be the size of a pin head, which is super scary. It still is limited to certain areas of the country, but it seems to be spreading. Be safe out there!

Back from E's appointment. 23.5"/90th and 12.9 lbs/80th. She got 4 vaccines, 3 were shots. He said she was doing well and she might not have a dairy issue. Give it a few more days dairy free and then slowly reintroduce. Bea is 24" and 13 lbs 12 oz. She is 90%+ across the board. Sounds like they are about the same size...your arms must get tired like mine do 😉 She got 5 vaccs today: 4 shots and 1 oral. I wonder which one we got that you guys did not. P had her 4 month visit today. Bea is bigger than my little string bean!

Same. P threw it up again this afternoon. Same here. She spit a lot of it out, so I'm not sure how vaccinated she is 😉 How crazy that Bea is bigger than 4 month old Poppy! Do your kids trend average or small?

tgrimes, thanks! tallb, that's really good information. I pulled a tick out of the side of my stomach a few weeks ago, but no bullseye, so I never bothered getting tested. I wonder if I should.

Wouldn't hurt to out a call into the doc. For the future, save the tick and send that in for analysis. Fingers crossed it was nothing. If you remember what it looks like deer ticks are lighter with dots, and they carry it. I don't think the plain black do. Ugh this is making me itchy thinking about it, they are the worst

Thanks for typing that out tallb. I knew the save the tick and bullseye thing, but not what happens if you actually get Lyme. Hope your H recovers quickly!

I'm so excited for you inthekitty! Did that mom/daughter get your house? Thanks for the moving love ladies. My husband got very blubbery tonight since it's the last night in our home. The mom/daughter duo did get our house. I really hope they enjoy it as much as we did. I think it will be a great home for them. If it's not crazy at work tomorrow I'm going to make them a helpful list of places to know around town and a bouquet on move in day.

The girls are in TKD camp this week and unfortunately it's not very well run. They did a week last month and hated it. We already paid and needed somewhere for them to be this week since it'd be miserable for them at home with it being a million degrees and nothing to do while the movers are here. I felt so bad at drop off.
They had a slightly better first day than last time. They told me they played some games with the big kids where they pretended to knock down Donald Trump's wall. I don't even know where they got that from because we've never talked about.

It is bittersweet. Mostly it's all about memories with the girls here but of course we'll make many new memories in the new house. Not gonna lie--I was happy to hear they were tearing down the wall! 😂

Do your kids trend average or small? Huge but since she's preemie it will take her awhile to catch up, if she ever does. Dude has slowed down but I think he's still around 75th percentile for height and weight. X is a giant beast, you'd never know he doesn't eat. He's a head taller than classmates his age.
