Talk to me about BBM workouts. Am I right to assume this is Bikini Body Mommy? Do you just choose a challenge and follow along? All I need to start are 5lb weights and a yoga mat? Yep. Bikini body mommy. You can pick a challenge and follow along (i randomly chose 2.0) or she posts a weekly workout schedule every week on FB to mix and match from different challenges. Just a set of hand weights are needed, really. I don’t use a mat.

doxiemama hi life twin! cnf nice work! Did you calculate your own macros? I sit here. I recently renewed my Noom membership and had them reset me to day one. Of course I am somehow up 3 lbs from yesterday. I didn't magically expect to be down but wasn't expecting a gain. I still haven't gotten a PP yet so I'm sure that played in to it. I know what I need to do diet wise, what I need to do is exercise. I want to start Couch to 5 K again and find some videos I can do in the morning. I need things I can do at home with minimal equipment. I did but I used an online calculator then added breastfeeding calories

Most people start with 5.0 because she's got postpartum mess and very relatable because she struggles to do her own workouts

DH and I both snuck in runs today in between rain storms. It was so cool out - the fresh air felt so good. Plus, the girls were sleeping, so I went without the stroller, so I felt lighter. It felt great. DH wants to pick a 5k in October (even though my longest isn’t there yet). But am now thinking that training with the stroller will definitely help! I just have to go more often in the week - or jump on the treadmill.

I'm easily a full minute plus slower with the stroller and the longest I've run with it is 4 miles and I'm dead by the end. Without it I can turn on autopilot and run forever.

Because of issues with my mom and her not watching the girls the last two Thursdays for me I've missed two weeks of long runs. I'm falling pretty behind on my marathon training. I might have to pay the neighbor's daughter to babysit for me this week so I can get out.
I've been still running, just not as long as i need. Between running and boot camp and I haven't taken a legit rest day in since like 4th of July maybe..?
I'm down two pant sizes and about 3lbs from the next weight decade. So I'm making progress.

I’ve been tracking my weight since I made my minimal diet adjustments and I’m consistently down about 2 lbs from where I was before, so that’s nice. I’ve been pushing to hit my 10,000 steps every day but I think I could use some more intense exercise to get my muscles back.

I tried to keep up with running last week, but with my H on vacation and then MIL visiting, I ate like CRAP. It was so bad. I’m refusing to get on the scale again until at least 9/1.
I’m back at work this week, so I’ve only run 2 miles each of the last two days, but my eating has been back on track. My body already feels better.

I'm pleasantly sore after a session with a trainer at lunch. I'm sure this will turn into unpleasantly sore tomorrow but hey...
I've been feeling down lately, probably because I've been so tired and missing being social and it definitely makes me feel more positive once I've exercised.

So I haven't worked out since last Friday, not a great way to start things. I'm hoping to get a work out in tonight and then maybe a walk in the morning and something Friday morning to get myself back on track. I ordered wireless headphones so I can do early morning workouts without worrying about waking the dogs up when they hear someone talking. I also think I need to really change up my eating because even when I eat healthier the scale doesn't budge. I'm thinking my "healthy" choices aren't healthy enough. I'm going to look for the info the nutritionist gave me back when we were TTC to see if following her suggestions helps, if not I might look into going back to a nutritionist to see where it is I'm going wrong.

Unfortunately I have learned that for me, the only way I can lose weight is by strict tracking. It sucks, but my body is just very very resistant to losing weight. So, I track in MFP, and try to reach certain macros. I actually just had my macros recalculated for weaning. I have quite a bit fewer carbs and fat, and a little more protein. It is really hard to hit but I am going to try extra hard the first couple weeks and hope to shock my body into submission. LOL.

laurensc927, I should mention that strict tracking definitely isn't the right thing for everyone, but I am just saying what traditionally works for me!

I did my treadmill for 49 minutes this morning and I didn’t die! This is huge for me.

Since joining weight watchers I have realized a lot of food that I took as healthy (like my yoplait yogurt) is not. It’s been an adjustment trying to keep within my points but I’m definitely trying my best. I’m also trying to be much better at portion sizes as well.

Got home from work early and got a run in. Didn’t feel as good as before, but it was at least 10’degrees warmer and I realized that I didn’t drink enough water today. But i’m glad I got out there again.

I’ve run a total of about 7.5 miles Mon-Thurs. I’m glad I got out for at least a bit all four days, but getting back to work has been rough. I’m so tired. Next week the students will be back, so I’ll be really tired! lol
I think my hormones might finally be leveling out because I’m finally losing weight after plateauing for months. Even with my crappy eating last week, I’m down another 3lbs from July. That puts me down 8lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight, and 4lbs from my goal!

laurensc927 and sarahandben108, I’m with you in the healthy choices. I used to eat overnight oats for breakfast and yogurt with maybe a granola bar and/or fruit for lunch. I thought I was being healthy, but there’s SO much sugar in all of those things.

Red doesn't mean bad persay but you need to limit your portions.

My New macros involve fewer fat grams, and nuts or salmon, two of my favorite things, really have a lot. But I still try to squeeze them in!

Anyone do intermittent fasting? I think the temptation of food would be too hard to start while on summer break, but I’m thinking of trying once I’m back at work. I’m 3lbs down from my pre baby weight, but the scale is hardly moving, so i want to try something new. At work, my lunch isn’t until 1:00, but we have snack time for the kids at 11, so I could possibly have something small then and have two meals prior to 7pm. Any thoughts/advice? I am weeks late on this but I actually started IF on Friday. I started it because when I am at work I was eating my breakfast at 8am, hungry for a snack by 10, lunch at 12, hungry for another snack at 2. I would rarely bring enough "snacks" so I'd always end up at the vending machine. BAD. So with this I am still eating my 3 meals a day but in an 8 hr period which has pretty much eliminated my snacking. Since Friday I have lost 2lbs and I actually got my period today and typically gain 3 pounds in water weight but newp, I am still down the 2lbs. Before this I had been the same weight for a hot minute. I also haven't drastically changed the actual food I am eating so that's been a nice gradual change for me rather than jumping right into a diet/lifestyle change with food.

I have been doing pretty well. Following macros most days, but allowing myself some treats on the weekends. I have steadily, albeit slowly, been losing weight which I am happy about. IIFYM is perfect for mw because I have never felt deprived. I did my first Orange Theory class on Thursday and I'm hooked and getting a membership with the new studio opening by my work. Doing some sporadic classes at another studio in between. Also continuing doing Peloton and also at home strength training.

I’m doing pretty good. We’ve been eating worse on the weekends than what we had been for a while, so that has to stop, but overall, it hasn’t been terrible. I’m still hovering right around 7-9lbs below my pre pregnancy weight. My half marathon is two weeks away, and I just ran my 12 miler this weekend. The race likely won’t be a PR, but I should be able to complete the 13 miles. . After that, I’ve got about 7 weeks until the next half I signed up for, so I’ll do my best to maintain my mileage.
