Happy weekend

C has a gross cold and tossed and turned all night. We are at my in laws. He wouldn’t sleep alone in the bunk beds because he needed his mom. I’m tired. Dh is still sleeping.

wedding I’m sorry C is feeling under the weather, hope it’s short lived.

Visited a small neighbouring town in the hope of finding some cute danish designer clothes for the kids, but no such luck. Tour to a small brewery is on the agenda for this afternoon.

Morning! Long night! Last night Sierra threw up her seizure meds because she didn’t want to swallow them. So I had to wait for the pharmacy to send up a new dose of them. She went to sleep though. I had to wait up till 10:30 for those and wake her up and give them slowly. All the while she was PISSED from being awakened for meds. Got them in her successfully finally. But her oxygen levels kept dropping overnight. Sometimes down into the 70s so they ended up turning on the oxygen and setting up a blow by for her. She also had to be suctioned a lot last night because she’s got a lot of secretions that she’s not swallowing and then it causes lack of oxygen...ect. Vicious cycle that had the nurses in the room a lot!

But...she’s up now and doing pretty good. She had a lot of pain when she first woke up. But some pain meds, ice chips, and bubble guppies seems to have helped.

Nothing much planned for this weekend. Millie and I are meeting a friend to swim around 3. Pretty much just laundry/cleaning/working on the agenda.

Morning! It’s a dreary day and I’d love to just stay home and chill all day. But dh wants to go to some “rib fest” and hour away. Which sounds super terrible considering I’m cleansing. But maybe if the rain keeps up we’ll skip it.

I think I’m feeling better this morning. Once I get up and moving I’ll be able to tell for sure. Cleaning lady will be here in an hour so I need to get up and get ready to go. We’ll probably hit the farmers market and a few stores. Nothing else planned. Hoping to just chill out for the most part.

B is at my Mom’s summer house for two nights so I gloriously slept in and still laying in bed, Julia is up but she likes her chill time in the morning. When she’s ready to start the day she tosses everything out of her crib and yells, that hasn’t happened yet.

Not sure what the plan is today, i’ve got to run to costco to see if snowsuits are out, B barely made it through the end of the season last year so he definitely needs a new on and they’re always out by now.

lfig Sorry for the rough night, I hope today will be better and y'all can both get some rest.

We had a really nice time at dinner last night; it was a restaurant I hadn't been to before but the food was amazing. I had a Thai-inspired lobster ravioli that was one of the top 5 meals I've ever eaten. Afterwards we went to the rooftop bar for drinks. I really enjoyed the break from the kids, C in particular has been...ahem, challenging...lately

The weather is cooler today, thankfully, but super humid. We're thinking of taking the kids to the movies.

vino C's 'morning routine' is the same as J's, she tosses everything out and then yells for you to come retrieve it all. Has J climbed out of her crib yet, or attempted? C figured out how to escape her PNP, I think our crib at home is higher but the day is coming, I'm sure. Le sigh.

*should* get to go home today. But she’s now got a fever and they are not happy with her lack of drinking. They think that the Tylenol is not enough for the pain and that’s why she’s not drinking. So they are giving her some oxy for the pain to see if that helps her be more comfortable to drink. Since we live 3 hours away they don’t want to send us home prematurely.

Yes, tonsils and adenoids. But because of all her medical issues they wanted to keep her overnight instead of doing it outpatient.

My half brother’s daughter is getting married. M is the flower girl. This is only the 3rd time I’ve seen my brother. I met the bride in 2001, she was 4, and then one more time at her bridal shower a couple of weeks ago.

flamingo J has tried to throw her leg up but I dont *think* that she knows what she is doing. She seems to be hitting milestones about 6 months sooner than B ever did, so I’ve got her bed picked out and a plan just in case it’s soon. I’m hoping she’ll stay in the crib until the spring 🤞

vino Everything is just awkward. We don’t have anything in common with anyone so at the rehearsal dinner after the normal required exchanges it was pretty silent.

I saw one of my half sisters yesterday for a few min. Her family is pretty cool but they weren’t at the rehearsal dinner. My other half sister will be here tonight.

My nephew is here with his son, who is 1 day you get than H, so M has been playing with him.

It’s just weird.

And my dad looks bad.

I wash then just set outside to dry.
