I found out that going for a walk with F in his carrier helps his gas, so I'm now taking a walk pretty much every day and it calms him right down. I downloaded Pokemon Go to play while I walk too lol

Ugh! I think my period has come back already. (I’m spotting) 😡 DD is only 7 weeks and I’m breastfeeding. I thought I would at least make it to when I went back to work at 12 weeks. I'm spotting and DS is 5.5 weeks. I've always gotten AF right away, but at least this should line up nicely with getting an IUD placed next week

I feel like there's something going on with F. He'll only settle down to sleep on me, and when he's awake he's crying in pain half of the time. Sometimes he's even waking up crying. When should I worry? He has his 2 month check up on Wednesday. It's just such a pathetic cry, and there's not a darn thing that I can do to stop it.

When my babies have been overly fussy with no cause (no gas, etc) I give Tylenol. You could try it, see if it helps.

Most cries seem to be tummy issues at that age. Try some gripe water and or Tylenol.

Most cries seem to be tummy issues at that age. Try some gripe water and or Tylenol. He does have a lot of gas, but when he passes it it doesn't seem to help. He's pooping regularly (at least twice a day) and it's a pretty liquid so I'm inclined to think he's not constipated. Silent reflux is something I've considered, especially since he seems to go hoarse every now and again. I have been giving a homeopathic colic/stomach treatment and it helps temporarily. I'll see about getting some Tylenol and see if that helps

Well I'll be darned! My best friend suggested putting some heat on Fs tummy so I heated up a rice bag, rolled it in a blanket, and put it on his tummy while he's in the vibrating chair. He's out!

Hi! I intro'ed back when we were all pregnant. I lurk mostly on this board. With all the babies with sleep/reflux issues try the auto rock n play. It has done wonders for my little E.

Just got L to nap in the RnP. She hasn't done this in weeks! I'm trying to get her to nap there instead of the swing mostly so we don't have to take both plus a PnP for O on vacation in a few weeks.

MH is thinking about changing jobs. His work has gone to shit in the past year and it's just frustrating him at this point. His former manager moved to another similar company, with similar benefits, and could get him on there. Slightly less pay (at least to start), more hours but it's a split shift.
I'm thinking ahead to when I go back to work and trying to figure out how it would work. H currently works evenings so I was planning on him watching F while I worked during the day. I would get home before H had to go to work. If he went to the new job, he wouldn't finish until 4 am so he wouldn't be able to watch F.
Since H would be making more, I could go back even less than I was thinking now, and could probably go on evenings, but I'd need to have someone watch F while we're both working.
Lots to think about!

Our pediatrician said I should give up dairy for a full month before reintroducing to see if he has a reaction, and that I should just eat the amount I was eating before because if I ease into it, it might be too subtle to see a change. That month is up next Wednesday and I am already thinking about what I am going to eat, especially if I end up having to keep this up for a while.
Pizza is definitely on the list! And a creamy coffee. Probably some chocolate.

But we are just now getting to a good place with E on her reflux meds so I’m so scared to intro it again. I may wait closer to 6 months to try it again. Wah

I finally picked up some infant tylenol today. The homeopathic tummy stuff wasn't working so I gave him a dose of tylenol chased with a bit of milk. He's not fussing any more.

More for how easy it is as a quick dinner that I don't have to cook than for the taste.

I think L might have an ear infection. He has been digging at his ears for the past several days, and he's been a little fussy (for him). He's only a little warm, though, and he has eczema in his ears, so it's hard to know for sure. I might take him tomorrow just to check.

R took 2 45 min naps in her crib today! And I nursed her out in public for the first time today at the park while DD1 and I had an after school snack while waiting on her play date. DD1 was out like a light before 8 and DD2 followed about 45 min later. I’m now laying in bed all by myself enjoying not being touched by another human being. I’m calling today a win!

Why is F sleeping soundly and I can't fall asleep for the life of me!? This is me every night. R wakes up around 2 each night and I can’t seem to go to sleep until 10:30-11 and waking up then is horrible.

He has still been having some of the symptoms that prompted me to give it up in the first place, so it may not actually be a dairy issue. We'll see when I reintroduce. It's funny though, it seems our second kids have a decent amount in common from the way they came into the world to their easy demeanor. I think we've both earned it from our first kids 😉

Every time someone comments on how lucky I am to have a chill and happy baby like L, I point to V who is usually human tornadoing through the area and remind them that I am still paying my dues.

My little porker put on 3/4 lb this past week! Doctor gave us a prescription for zantac to try. He said that with how small he is that it's not a good idea to potentially have something that will affect his weight gain.

I nicked DDs finger while clipping her nails today 😳😭 Poor thing only whimpered for a minute but I still feel like shit over it.
ETA: I don’t know how to add photos on mobile but it’s a pretty bad cut.

I nicked Fs finger twice in a row. I felt terrible. I'm just going to have to cut them less aggressively and more often than I would do for myself.
