csho when V pees in the night does he do it at the same time every night? Does he wake up and tell you about it? If the answer to both of those are yes I would try and wake him up like 5 or 10 minutes before his usual time and take him to the potty. He typically pees twice, once immediately after he uses the potty and we've put him to bed for the night. He waits 5 or 10 minutes, removes pullup, pees on bed, comes and gets us. I think this behavior is some kind of attempt to prevent or delay going to sleep. The second time I have no idea, I just find a dry pullup on the floor and a pee stain in the bed in the morning.

FFFC: I find it odd when people show up, say "hey"! After they haven't been around for 2.5 years and then disappear again. ETA: and also only show up after we move forums. Weird like they've been lurking the whole time or weird like how the hell did you find us? IDK, I'm all for people joining in again especially if they were okay posters. tgrimes is like my personal online shopper. I only help out when klong11 is busy. She can find anything & everything. I just happened to have those 2 items today saved in my favorites though. Thank you for being my shopping yoda, the good people at Amazon are delivering to me on Sunday.

csho, Maddie is a major little heater when she sleeps but she was fine with the LSK. We had the short sleeved one with no feet as well as the footies for winter. They zip up and snap in the back so even though she was Houdini about getting her clothes off she couldn't get them off. They make them all the way for grade-school aged kids so a big enough size won't be an issue. I liked them on FB and got a 10% off code. They were spendy for PJs, but very good quality and worth it for the sanity of no longer cleaning up a poo bed.

If you are an established poster that chooses at some point that you'd rather lurk, that's weird to me. Personally I feel like if you have time to lurk, you have time to post. Not everything you post needs to be earth shattering, a lot of stuff I post is pretty darn mundane. It's a relationship. To the second part, why after 2.5 years and a forum change would you suddenly decide to look for us and post? If she has intentions of staying and chatting with us, ok. But since her post yesterday I haven't seen any more responses or joining in on the daily thread. Was she bat signaled? She isn't on the fb group so I know she didn't find us that way.

Obviously I don't mind if someone who used to post comes back and actually participates ( csho is a great example).

H goes to bed at 8:30, though it takes her a while to go to sleep. I would think cutting drinks an hour to 2 hours before bed should be long enough. I am actually currently bribing H to stay in her bed all night and that's exactly how it goes. I tell her she will get a special surprise in the morning if she stays in bed all night. So far, it's been 3 days, it's working. Night one I gave her one of those character juices, night 2 was a cookie, today was dippin dots (although they were kind of a joint treat for keeping her hat on at the zoo). Some kids probably would do better with a specific item in the bribe.

But since her post yesterday I haven't seen any more responses or joining in on the daily thread. Was she bat signaled? She isn't on the fb group so I know she didn't find us that way. This 98%. The part I don't necessarily agree with is time to lurk = time to post. To a degree yes, especially if it's a pattern, but sometimes I'm on mobile and it's much harder for me to type than it is to scan through things. Sometimes I feel like things have already been said by the time I finally catch up with a conversation. I'm socially awkward so I get other people's social awkwardness so I can give the lurking a pass sometimes.
I welcome former posters and I liked Tilapia for the brief time she posted with us. I always thought a lot of people were more than a little bitchy to her when the drama started. But I fully think it was weird to ask about posting in the private board. It makes it seem like she wants the password just to see what's posted there and continue to lurk with all the details. I mean, she found the N13 page so she can clearly see that we're active on the main board.
And Tilapia - girl if you're lurking now and I've got it wrong, join in the fun. I welcome you here. It just came off as sketchy to pop in out of no where and ask about the private board. Start with the regular board because that's where most of the action is anyway.

By the time to lurk statement I meant exclusively lurking. If you have a busy day and don't have time to respond or whatever that's different. I remember a while back housewifehair said she was always lurking. She only ever posted to tell someone congrats or give them condolences.

Guys, it's not bribing. It's using a reward system to reinforce positive behavior. Use those terms and you're using the interventions of a child psychologist. I find bribing effective. Maddie was my problem child with getting out of bed. A reward chart with a star next to it the next morning, prizes she can earn with said stars, and tons of praise when she stayed in bed has done wonders for her. Drinks are mostly cut off about 1.5 hours before bed. I allow sips here and there, but that's it otherwise they'd chug a whole water bottle. I remind them both when brushing their teeth just before bed that is their last chance for a sip of water.

Made it to South Tx. That's a long ass car ride. Cadence did awesome since I had some movies downloaded for her. We got to the hotel and they are redecorating/renovating. Yay. Cadence is pissed at the noise. A heads-up would have been nice. Oh well, I'm just glad to be out of the car.

I had to pick S up from day care this afternoon early because she had a fever. She's been struggling with a URI for over a week. We went to the dr, they called in prescriptions, now S is asleep in the pharmacy parking lot. It's 30 minutes from home so I don't really want to come back, but I don't want to wake her either. I wish someone I knew would pull up and I could have them sit with S while I ran in.

B has a small drink at dinner (b/n 6:30-7) and then he's pretty much cut off; we'll let him have a sip of water while brushing his teeth, though. He typically pees before his bath, and then we have him go again right before he goes to bed. He's in bed by 8.

Can the people who are putting a little potty in their N13er's room overnight raise their hands?
I wanna know how this is working for people. Good/bad/ugly

For us bath is around 18.45 (every night, messy eaters, play outside a lot 😉) upstairs around 7, mess around on our bed all 4 of us, then winding down with one book for dd&ds together. After that Dh takes ds into his own room to read two more stories and I nurse & rock dd to sleep. Ds is allowed to play quietly for a little bit after Dh leaves and is usually asleep before 8. We 'reward good behaviour' 😉 by asking him what he wants the next day. After last week i make damn sure it's not something that would break his (and therefore mine) heart if the reward would be taken away. For example today he said he wanted to to the park and play soccer with dh. Other times it's a certain kind of sweet or a board game he really loves.
