Question time. You may have noticed that I go off the rails on the weekends. It's hard because I don't want to miss out on anything and once I have a couple of drinks I start eating badly. This week I'm going out with friends on Thursday for dinner/drinks/concert. Friday I can keep it together, Saturday evening is a party but it's not one where I'll be drinking much/at all. Then Sunday is Father's Day so we're grilling by the pool with my parents and IL's. My question for everyone is - how do you stay motivated/on track during the weekends? I meal plan pretty religiously, including the weekends. It's the only way that really keeps me on track. I think if you plan your alcohol intake (e.g. Thursday is one drink, Saturday is 2 drinks, etc), then budget the weeklies, it may help, because then you have a plan rather than just consuming calories willy nilly. Right now for me, it really helps that hubs and MIL are doing WW too, so we are encouraging to each other, and help each other make better choices.

OK...I'm calling an audible. I have consistently weighed less on Fridays than I do on Wednesdays for the past few weeks. So, I'm changing my weigh in day for my self esteem and to help with sticking with the program. I weighed in at 163 today, which is 3 lbs lighter than last week.

I found I weigh less the day after a god workout. Since I do water aerobics (pretty high cardio) on Mondays and Wednesdays I moved my weigh in day from Monday to Tuesday. I had 2 weeks of decreases and 1 of 0 change so I don't think there is anything wrong with it. But that's just me

Yesterday I used 51 points- yikes! I really wanted an Italian sub for lunch, so I went for it. At dinner a ate a salad w/ grilled chicken but had 2 glasses of wine too. I ran (run/walk intervals) 5 miles this AM so I'm definitely using some extra points today & not feeling guilty for it!!

I finally am in "onederland"!! My goal was to be below 200 by June 1, but it's been a crazy few weeks so I've been losing like .4 or .2. Then had a 4 lb gain due to swelling and stuff from some minor surgery. But I finally saw 199 on the scale this morning. I am so excited and now motivated to keep going.

I didn't have the best eating weekend, but it wasn't the worst either and I was active (I ran 5 miles on Saturday! - the longest I've run in at long time, a big NSV for me!) The plan for today: B: light English muffin w/ 1/2 tbsp. cream cheese (that's all that was left in the container!), coffee w/ almond milk 4 pts S: fruit salad, cottage cheese 2 pts L: tuna, special K chips 4 pts S: nectarine D: grilled chicken, salad, rice 11 pts
That only puts me at 21 points for the day, so I will probably increase my portions at dinner & have another snack.

I really went off the rails this weekend. I may have mentioned it before but, DH doesn't really need to watch what he eats. I'm usually pretty good with sticking to my plan but...not so much this weekend.
I'm going to do some meal prep that includes some kind of sweet so I don't go crazy again.

Hi everyone! Back on the wagon today. Hopefully for good. I think MH and I are going to start trying for a second baby soon and I really want to get 10lbs off first.
The weekend was not good. I mean, the food was delicious because we grilled ribs for father's day and I made cheesecake, but not good for WW.
So far I am on track today and am looking forward to a healthy dinner. One day at a time!

Went off the rails, gained a couple of pounds, WW gave me 7 more weeklies. That's not really the kind of reinforcement I need, WW.
I really need to focus though for these last few months of lots of BFing points.

Add me to the recommiting club. I had such high hopes in January that this year would be it but this year has been hard for me mentally. I finally feel like I'm at a good place and am committed to make healthy physical changes as well. We have a big trip in September that I want to lose 14 pounds for so I'm using that as a big motivation for me.
I started tracking again today and have my breakfast and snacks packed for tomorrow. We didn't prep lunches but I'll pick up a rotisserie chicken for lunch for the week.

I did well yesterday, went over by 2 points but I really wanted a cocktail. So I had 1 Vodka & Soda after dinner.
Today I had a really filling breakfast for just 5 points: 1 egg, 1 egg white, scrambled over sautéed veggies & 1 slice of Canadian bacon (1 slice is 0 points!), light English muffin, w/ I can't believe it's not butter spray (I know, it's terrible for me - but it was a life saver the 1st time I did WW). I had a meeting that ran long this AM and I was the only thing keeping my stomach from growling.
Tonight we're going out, so I'm expecting that I'll be eating all of the rest of my fit points. But H is going away for work for the rest of the week, so we need this night out and I can watch what I eat for the rest of the week. And I got my ass to the gym this morning and ran 2.5 miles.

BFP warning.
Hi ladies! I got a BFP a couple weeks ago and I've had to stop weight watchers since they don't have a point breakdown for pregnant women. I so wish they did, but I get it. I'd just prefer not to gain almost 50 lbs again. Trying to figure out how many points I should be eating was stressing me out so I thought it best to cancel. Now not following the points is stressing me out instead and I've gained two lbs. If anyone has any easy plans they recommend I'd appreciate it. I feel kind of lost and I want to avoid going completely off the rails.

My Dr. told me that I'm the 1st tri we really don't need a bunch of extra calores. After that we only need about 200 extra. MFP made keeping track of that easy. I just put it in maintain mode and searched what trimester of pregnancy I was in. I really feel like that helped me gain the right amount.

Just rejoined WW two weeks ago. I was a member last year Jan-May, then did fertility treatments. DD was born at the end of March. I lost the pg weight, but still have the extra weight that I had before that. When I rejoined, I weighed in 5 pounds above my lowest weight on WW last year! I'm down 2.8 so far.
Got sidetracked and overdid it today, but starting now will get back on track. I've been doing really well generally with breakfasts (scrambled egg burrito with salsa and fruit) and dinners (grilled chicken or fish) but struggling with lunches. I have been doing ceasar salad wraps, but think i need to add protein to it. I am also going to try and find some protein to add to the breakfast wrap. I tried the turkey sausage/bacon last year and wasn't a huge fan.

I get 52 points a day... it's not a small number. ETA: Also, Congrats! Yay baby!

Congrats snowyowl!!! I 2nd doing MFP in maintenance mode for tracking. With DD2 I stayed active & mostly ate healthy (but I do remember getting a lot of McD's towards the end!) I gained about 25 lbs, but staying active really helped my recovery (and I suspect my delivery, though each are different no matter what so it's hard to tell).

Ugh. This week has been tough. I went out Tuesday night - ate & drank more than I should have. Then yesterday there was a lot of free food around at work. Then I was so tired from going out Tuesday night that I just ordered a pizza for dinner. Plus AF is due any second now so I'm feeling so bloated. I put on my size 8 pants this AM (the ones that fit perfectly last week) and the waist band was digging into my stomach. So I'm chillin in my 10's.
Doing better today, though instead of entering my points I've been trying to keep up with all the deleted/moved thread drama. I should step away from that & focus on some health.
Today will be better, tomorrow will be easy to stay on track too. Saturday will likely be a shit show (food wise). I'm trying to remember how I did it the first time I lost a lot of weight. I think I just had more willpower then.

Thanks ladies! I'll give MFP a try. I did it a few years ago and found it too involved. But now that I'm used to tracking anyway, it probably won't be much of a transition.

I'm up 2.5 lbs today. I'm not surprised and was expecting a bigger gain (shitty food choices and my period is due today).
Today's plan: B: egg & Canadian bacon on English muffin 4 points. I ordered a dunkin iced coffee w/ a little cream...they put in 3, so I have to figure out the points. L: cookout at work - burger on roll, a little potato salad & watermelon 17(?) points S: banana, nectarine & cheese stick D: salad w/ tuna 5 points
