Hi from the salon! We’re packing, my house has exploded, but I realllly needed a haircut! How are all of you lovely’s?

Morning time. I was so excited to wrap up work and school that I didn't notice that the weather looks like absolute crap this week😖. Today we drive to PA and plan to ride a steam train and maybe a children's museum. I think we will brave Dutch Wonderland tomorrow since it is chance of storms, otherwise will find something else to do. We have 2 days passes to sesame place for Mon/Tues but may need to reassess if a rain out and do something in Philly instead.

Now better get packing before I go to Barre...I have a bunch of classpass credits that are about to expire so need to workout before we go.

MH watched our 3 kids and my friends 5 year old last night while we had girls night, so he's still sleeping and I plan to take the kids out this morning so he can have a lazy morning.

You can always do a chocolate pudding pie/strawberry Jell-O Cool Whip pie using one of the gluten-free graham cracker crusts. The brand is Modell's.

Tate's gf cookies are awesome and you could put a scoop of ice cream between them and make chipwiches.

These peanut butter balls are really easy, but you need gf Rice Krispies (the brand I like best is erewhon).

And if you do buy the gluten-free Rice Krispies , you could always make regular Rice Krispies treats.

Other ideas:
Fruit salad with a lime honey sauce to pour over it, ice cream with gluten-free cones and fun toppings, gluten-free Oreos (I don't remember what brand we typically buy) to make "dirt" with pudding and the gummy worms coming out of it.

C slept til 7:30 and B just got up at 8:23!!! Christmas in July?? DH was supposed to have an early flight but the weather is bad so he's home with us, I think he might go out to get us breakfast in a bit.

No big plans today that I know of, I think it's supposed to storm all day so we'll have to come up with something to entertain the kiddos.

Morning! I slept terribly but it's gorgeous out this morning so I went for a long-term run anyway. Now DH is at the barber, Colin is watching PJ Masks and I'm trying to convince Chase to eat his breakfast. It's... Not going well. LOL.

M & I are going to a 1st birthday party at my boss’s house this morning and then I need to clean & do laundry.

A month or so. I might fly out there for a few days with E. All depends on how cheap of a flight I can get.

M woke me up at 7:30 to tell me he peed the bed so I'm washing bed clothes. That's his first time in months.

I'm so done with them fighting and being mean to each other. So I'm not doing time outs today, each time they fight or one is mean, I take a toy. And they're not getting them back for a while. I'm so over the fighting! A had to work this morning but is on his way home. I have to run to Verizon and try to figure out what the fuck they did to our accounts. We switched them to a business account and set up automatic payments like we always have. I get a dozen calls and emails a day about past due bill. But when I call they say all is fine. I have no idea what they did but I'm tired of fighting with their customer service.

We have bees and scary wasps so exterminator is here spraying the deck. I keep seeing him spray and then run, so I'm a little nervous to go outside.
We will be making a Home Depot and then Aldi trip today. My teenage nieces are coming tomorrow the week-- they are so excited to babysit. I think mh and I might go out to eat every night this week.

So last night my nephew K admitted he was doing things to get LO in trouble. He said his brother did it to him so he does it to LO and his younger brother. I talked with him and we discussed a lot of things. I feel bad for K, he's in a tough spot. Luckily after our talk he was much nicer to LO and there was no more fighting or issues. LO even shared a new toy with K.

C got up at 6 and was having trouble with th tv so I went down and fixed it then slept until 8. Then C and I spent the next two hours going through every toy and book in the house and decided what to donate, throw away, or keep. We ended up with 8 bags of donations! I brought them to the donation place already and I feel so light! I told C if he did a good job with this we would get him a desk for his room. He’s been begging for one to do his art. So that’s our plan for tomorrow!

We are leaving for the zoo/splash pad soon. I’m sure it will be a zoo (hehe) there since it’s gorgeous out but I don’t mind.

So I put a training potty out this week. C practiced sitting on it, we talked about it, etc.

Earlier this morning she said ‘peepee’ and clutched at her (dry) diaper, and a couple minutes later, I noticed her diaper was wet.

So just now she took me back to the bathroom and said ‘peepee’. I quickly stripped the diaper off and she sat down on the potty and peed (!!!!!!)

I hadn’t planned to start training until we were back from summer travels, but I guess if she’s interested now we’ll give it a try and see how things go 🤷🏻‍♀️

wedding that is amazing C gave up so much. When I tried talking to LO about giving up toys and books he had a meltdown. He saw my bag of clothes to thread up and freaked out even though none of the clothes fit him.

Morning Ladies! I did most of the prep for DS's party last night, so I get to a take it somewhat easy today. H is cleaning off the slide, and the kids are SUPER excited about it. Too bad it's supposed to rain today. Womp.

My dad stopped by this morning with bagels and a card for DS, which was nice. He recently reconnected with his estranged dad, and I guess he's not doing well. I told him I would like to meet him before it's too late if possible. Then he rolled off on his motorcycle and left me to contemplate how strange my family is 😐

Just got a ton of items at Carters/OshKosh. Extra off clearance, $6 shorts for LO and buy 1 get 2 free on polos. Plus I had rewards $s. So I got 5 shorts, 3 shirts, and pjs for LO and 1 pj, 1 complete outfit and 1 set of hair accessories for E for under $50

He’s definitely type A like me and doesn’t like clutter so I use that to my advantage. We also had a good conversation about giving to others and at times he would say “someone else would like this more” and put it in the bag to go. I was very surprised.

We had a great time at the zoo and splash pad. Then we went to the playground outside the zoo and C mastered the monkey bars then wanted to keep doing them. Until we noticed the skin on his palm was peeling off. It’s really gross and he says it hurts a lot. We got stuff at CVS and wrapped it up. She wanted to take him to the beach tonight but I’m not sure that’s a good idea.

Gymnastics, then swim, then we came home for lunch and we went to the pool at the park. We just got back from getting snow cones. I hope Cadence is work out because I surely am.

Howdy! I’m at work. DH and S left around noon to head to the campground to spend the day with my dad and sisters’ families. Bummed I have to miss out. This morning was cool so I planted a couple things I’ve been waiting to get into the ground. After work I’m going to change and then go out for a drink for my bff’s 30th birthday.
