Morning! MH and C are on their way home from soccer with breakfast. I have a bridal shower today. I LOVE the bride (MH's cousin's fiance), but so dreading it. It's sure to be a 150 person shower and last forever. I hope there is wine.

jewels I loved Bill Bellamy! He hosted MTV Jams which I would watch after school with my VHS tapes at the ready to record Boyz II Men videos. Lol.

I thought showers were supposed to be intimate/just family and close friends 😂 how many will be at the wedding, do you think? |

Morning! The rain held off for us yesterday and the party was a blast. I made way too much food because almost everyone dropped their kid and bounced, and the kids were too interested in playing to eat. Also, DH forgot to invite our neighbors, which I had planned for. You had one job, DH. I guess I'll forgive him for securing the slide, which was a hit! Also, I got this little $30 snow cone machine off Amazon and that thing also stole the show. I have 2 painters coming today and one tomorrow for quotes on painting the house. Unless flamingo wants to come visit cincy 😉 we're going to try and find an apron sink tonight too. |

peachsmama that seems fair, in my experience, esp. with all that trim work and the fact that paint is included. Granted, I think you're in a lower COL area, but still, that's a lot of square footage. Down home it's usually around $500/room.

Morning! H is still camping, S has been intently playing with her little people forever and DH is laying on the couch. I have to leave for work in an hour 👎🏻 I only had a drink and a half last night so no hangover for me. I had a good time though.

Hi rough night but I got lots of snuggles so not too bad. C and I are going to a steakhouse for an early dinner. I get gift cards every year for this place and haven't used them the last 3 years. So free meal. I'm going to hit up another carters today to see if I can get more shorts for LO. It's the style he likes so this works out.

We skipped ninja today because of Cs hand. I have Mom guilt about it because it was peeling a little yesterday which I thought was weird and I didn’t think about how the monkey bars feel on hands. Now one hand is missing a layer of skin.  We went to breakfast, At Home to get a desk chair, and the trampoline park. He was bummed he couldn’t do the zip line and obstacle course but we had a blast playing dodgeball. I’m actually pretty good at dodgeball with a bunch of 14 yo boys trying to hit me. C was proud. |

I really liked this guy so hopefully he's the cheapest. The next one is a friend of my dads and he's really nice but a bit odd... not sure I want to deal with that lol.
But all are actually painters with their own companies. I refused any and all recs of "they paint on the side" or as my mil said "I'm pretty sure he paints"

I need advice but TW...
A woman on my team, who is a total sweetheart, had a loss. I think she was a few weeks along. I dont really know the details but her sister (who also works with me) basically told me without telling me. She took Thursday and Friday off. I’m not sure if she’ll be back tomorrow or not.
What should i do or say? I want to make sure i handle this well and make her feel supported without making her feel uncomfortable. Any ideas?

wedding ouch! You might contact the Ninja place and see what they would do for it. I know the injury didn't happen there, but I bet they have a lot of experience with that kind of thing. You might get him some workout gloves so he can keep going and not reinjure it. I would put aquaphor on it and keep.it wrapped until bath time. Let it breathe at night while he sleeps and rewrap in the morning.

The petting zoo didn't come to the Farmers market. It was too hot for the animals. We played at the playground and browsed the booths. Then we ate some empanadas from the food trucks. Not too bad of a morning, but Cadence really wanted to pet a bunny.  |

wedding don’t feel guilty, he didn’t tell you so you couldn’t have known. It looks like he got a blister and the skin on the outside peeled off. Kids heal quick, he’ll be back at it in no time.

Most weddings are 300-400 people, ours was 170 and considered small. They're all about doing things cheaply to "make the most money". People were horrified at my country club wedding! It's also odd cause they invite people to the shower who aren't invited to the wedding. Can you say tacky? Like the wedding of the couple today will only be like 100 people. They also didn't invite kids to the wedding so everyone in a complete tizzy. We weren't even going to bring our kids, so whatever. |

You should see the wedding and shower invites we get. Tons of people I've never met that are just part of the local Romanian circle/church. We've had some where MIL and FIL don't know who they are at first too...and then they go to the wedding! No to going to a shower/wedding of someone I don't know. And I'm not sending a gift either. His cousin had a 500 person wedding! |
