So, after today's discussion I made Cadence wipe her own butt. I showed her how to hold the toilet paper, etc., then wiped her myself when she was done to make sure she was clean. She did a good job! The second time she went I made mh stand there too so he can learn how it needs to be taught.
I also threw out all of her sippy cups and replaced them with straw cups. She isn't quite ready for open cups(I don't want to clean up constant spills) and she hates the 360s.

We use closed cups at home because Max will stick his face in it and drink it😼. He is fine with an open cup though. I also had him wipe himself tonight and he did great. Congratulations mskatiep! |

Ok that’s exactly what we do. M has open cups at every meal, but I keep a camelback or similar of water or in the fridge for him to grab throughout the day.
