When you tell my child no more snacks she will find something to hit you with When you take the tablet away for hitting she will hit you again and bite you Instant time out. Great way to start bedtime  She broke the skin on my arm and bruised it. Awesome. Lo tried to bite me today. He got a time out and was told if he ever tried to bite someone again no Disneyland. That got his attention real quick. Let's hope it's just a phase and ends quickly. How is it having him back? Have you smothered him with all the hugs? |

chrisy01 I must have missed that LO got back! I’m sure you are glad, biting aside. Was he happy to be back home?

Sooooooo my SIL and her family are here to visit for a day before making the trek to their new home in OK. MH’s teen cousin flew to meet them before they left to help out with the two year old on the drive, so she is here, too. M wanted to tell her good night so he went in the room with MH and she is crying. MH comes to get me to talk to her- My SIL has just gone to bed- to make sure everything is ok. I told him I’m no good at this, but went anyway. It’s trouble with her boyfriend, and I am just truly no good at knowing what to say in the moment in these situations. I just kept saying I’m sorry, he wasn’t worth it, she deserved better, It’s not your fault, Yada yada. I did let her know no matter what time it was, she could come to me if she needed to talk or anything. I hope that was enough.

lahdeedah and Sunny41 it's nice having him back. I tried to give him a ton of kisses and hugs but he gave me a couple then asked me to stop. He keeps reminding me he's going back to grandma and grandpas after Disneyland so who knows if he is happy to be back.
