notelsie I’m pretty sure you have plenty of time. A friend just had her baby at 38 or so weeks and like a week before he made the flip to head down.

I don’t feel well. Had a rough day emotionally and I think the stress has manifested itself physically. My entire abdomen is sore and uncomfortable, my back hurts... uggggggh. H is going to stop and grab me a bite to eat because I just want to sit down and not move until morning. Only 20 more weeks to go 🤦🏻♀️

notelsie I'm pretty sure my womb occupant is all over the place, feels like he's doing flips in there sometimes. I don't think they really get concerned about breech till maybe 34 weeks, versions are performed between 36-38 weeks, and plenty of babies change positions even later on. One of my coworkers had a breech baby and he flipped the night before her scheduled C, so they canceled it and she ended up getting induced the next week instead. If you are concerned, find a chiropractor who does webster technique, it's supposed to help keep the pelvis open to get baby in the right position for birth. I did it last time and it helped my back and hip pain, and baby was head down from pretty early on.

I landed some under-the-belly maternity leggings and OMG BEST. I had one pair last time around and haven't been able to find them and I am just so happy right now.

A/S was this morning. Baby is looking great. Arms and legs and organs are where they belong.
However, the placenta is on the edge of my cervix, so I have to go back in 8 weeks to see if it has moved away. On pelvic rest and no heavy lifting. Son of a...

Solidarity, hoping I get good results at my previa scan in 9 days and yours clears by 8 weeks. Pelvic rest sucks, and no heavy lifting as a toddler mom is a joke, I'm still lifting 28 lbs of toddler on a regular basis.

Why can I not crave veggies?!?! I only crave veggies with copious amount of ranch dressing or cheese, which pretty much negates their healthiness.

I’m pretty sure this sweet boy is in a transverse position. I thought he’d be head up or down because of his equilibrium by now. I’m only 26 weeks.. does anyone know how soon he needs to be head down? I am pretty sure ds1 was transverse until about 33 weeks. One night I had this massive movement, like an alien was taking over my body, and then I was feeling his kicks in my ribs so I'm pretty sure that's when he went head down.

I had my follow up ultrasound today after baby didn’t cooperate with all the views they needed at the a/s. But... they still couldn’t get what they needed. Baby was all snuggled up in a ball with arms and legs in front of her torso.
So, I’m waiting to hear from the Dr what they want to do next. Maybe an ultrasound at the hospital with higher tech equipment.

Sorry you joined the pelvic rest club quijibo. So happy for a healthy baby though. I agree with Dramaphile that it’s kinda impossible to refrain from heavy lifting with a toddler though. All these placentas need to get their shit together!

Is anyone else getting super tired again? I've been getting hit with just massive exhaustion after lunch every day lately. Like, I had energy for a while there, but now I can barely motivate myself to move. I keep forcing myself to drink water, in an effort to have to get up to get the water, and then inevitably get up to go to the bathroom just to see if walking around helps, but I feel like I'm at the start of my slow decline in productivity at work from now until maternity leave already.

Yes. Right about now my eyes are so heavy and I just pray for 5pm!

Yes! Usually when DS naps, I do the majority of cleaning, prepping dinner, organizing, etc. But lately, I’ve just been laying down too because I’m too exhausted to move. I don’t remember being this tired the last time.

I've definitely noticed that I have had a decrease in what I am able to do physically in a day without getting exhausted. Its not like oh I need a nap I am so tired. Just a I can't walk anymore and need to sit I am so tired.

I'm sorry to all the ladies with previa/possible previa. I had a complete previa with my first and delivered at 37 weeks. I just wanted to mention that I never had any bleeding or anything like that when I had the complete previa, just in case it gives some comfort to some of you that it is possible you won't experience anything like that.

I didn’t save many of DS’s infant clothes because we were lacking in storage space and I didn’t know if the seasons/sex would even match up when we had another.
Now I’m like- shit, I have no clothes for this baby. I’m going to have to do a lot of shopping at some point. When we had DS I lived by a ton of outlet stores & I’m definitely missing those right now!

We decided on a doula! She penciled us in for my due date and we’ll finalize and put down the deposit if all goes well with my scan next week. If previa is still an issue, I’ll forgo the doula since I would mainly want her for labor/birth support and not for a planned CS. But MH and I really vibed well with her during our interview meeting thing, so hoping everything works out.

My family has 3 babies due this year and the first of the three was born early this morning! A little scary because in my head I've been like thinking I have all kinds of time (I'll be the last of the three to have mine), but now that theirs are being born I'm panicking! haha
I have this giant to do list of what I want done before the baby that I come up with will "working" but then when I get home I don't feel like doing them!
