This is a combined TTC thread for EVERYONE currently TTC. Whether you're a first timer, a many timer, or an old timer come on in and pass the time as we struggle through WTO and the dreaded TWW.
As this is a combined thread there will be talk of LC, losses, and IF struggles. If any of these are hard for you please just let us know in your first post and I'm sure the lovely ladies on here will be happy to add TWs to accommodate.
Feel free to add a little intro to help us get to know you better;)

Month/Cycle: 1/1
Timing: -6, -4, -2, -1, 0, +1
CD/DPO: 23/7
Symptoms: Major headaches the last week or so. May be a result of the high dose of Femara
RRCS: Just biding my time symptom spotting and googling. I will try to wait to test next weekend. We'll see how that works out for me. Haha.

Cycle/month: 12
Timing: -6,-4,-2,0 (pretty sure I O’d yesterday just waiting on FF to confirm)
CD/DPO: CD18 1DPO
Symptoms: none
RRCS: I haven’t stopped crying since our IUI yesterday, we were given really bad news. We were told there was less than a 1% chance of IUI working for us. The RE did not want a SA before the IUI since they would be doing one when they washed it. I wish we would have insisted on having one done beforehand so we wouldn’t have gotten our hopes up. H only had 3 total motile sperm in his sample, they said a normal sample has at least 5 million motile sperm. They went ahead with the insemination since we had already paid and had made the 2 hour drive to be there, even though they said there was no point. We have an appointment next Monday to discuss our options, IVF or donor sperm. It’s not like we didn’t know H had a low sperm count and low motility going into this, but before we conceived DS his last SA had 2 million motile sperm. Still low but at least some hope compared to just 3 total, where we are now.

octoberrust, I'm so sorry that is really hard news to get. Is there any chance this SA was just an exceptionally bad one and he could have a slightly better one later?

octoberrust, I'm so sorry that is really hard news to get. Is there any chance this SA was just an exceptionally bad one and he could have a slightly better one later? When I talked to the nurse this morning she said they will have him repeat the SA when we go for our appointment next week and possibly one more time after that before we move forward with any other plan. She also told me for IVF, with numbers so low he would have to give multiple samples days apart to be frozen to have enough good sperm to fertilize any eggs they would retrieve.

Month/Cycle: 13/12
Timing: Benched until next cycle
CD/DPO: CD13/?
Symptoms: N/A
RRCS: TW: LOSS I had a D&C on 6/20 so now I'm just WFAF. LO's heart stopped beating around 6w3d. Right after my D&C, I wasn't really sure if I wanted to try again. DH told me he really didn't want to give up so here I am. I'm trying to find it in me to want this. I'm sure I'll feel better once AF starts again.

Hi guys! Sorry I fell off the face of the earth. I had some work dramz for a while, but now things seem to have calmed down, so I'm back! Nothing is happening here in TTC land (which is a surprise to exactly no one.) but H and I had a convo about #2 last night. We're getting antsy and are thinking about calling the RE in the fall now instead of next spring! I've been temping but my charts are INSANE. Like, my cycles are consistently 30-32 days but there is no temp shift, at least not until later in the cycle, and never enough to initiate CH in FF. I wonder if my thermometer needs a new battery or something, because clearly, *something* is happening in there. It's just not being translated into data points on the chart. I'm waiting to log into FF one day and have it be like ::shruggy guy:: who TF knows?! I mean, there's no point in me charting, anyway.... It just feels like I'm doing *something* ... lol. Oh, control issues.

RRCS: Blargh, cd1. Thinking we'll just do Femara and TI for this last cycle, our schedules are already really busy so IUI would be stressful and IVF will be stressful enough. Need to call and get the ball rolling on all the IVF stuff, we'll start right after this cycle.

sarahh, I've heard Femara can really up your hormones in the TWW which makes everything worse. Hope the headaches subside! octoberrust, again, so sorry for the bad news. ((hugs)) wildhoney, I want to wrap you in creepy internet hugs, I am so sorry for your loss and that you find yourself back here. loorin, I hope your RE appointment goes well - I felt so much relief once we met with an RE, it's nice to have someone else on your side.

charliefox, I don't really remember from the last time I took Femara but this time I am starting on the higher dose so I'm sure that's contributing to the cramping and awful headaches. I'm sorry octoberrust. Hopefully it was a fluke month and his next sample is full of them! I'm so sorry for your loss wildhoney,

Month/cycle: 7/7
Timing: N/a. Benched d/t cysts
Cd/dpo: not sure, somewhere near the end of my cycle
Symptoms: N/a
RRCS: I'm just anxiously waiting for this cycle to be over so I can find out if I'm cleared to resume treatment next cycle. At the same time I'm also dreading going back to the doctor because I know I'm going to be crushed all over again if we have to wait another cycle. Luckily this week is pretty busy with the holiday so hopefully I can keep myself distracted!
Also I had to take my DD to the doctor for her well checkup today and I forgot how hard it is going to that office because it shares a lobby with my OB/GYN clinic. Almost everybody I saw was pregnant or had children my DDs age and another younger baby. It just made me so sad. I just hope next time I go there in six months I'm pregnant.

Month/Cycle: 7 I think?
Timing: -4, -1, 0
CD/DPO: 19/4
Symptoms: n/a
RRCS: We're apparently in this cycle...we were cutting it close with the -4 day but then when my cousin texted me I got a little drunk and went for it and got a positive opk the next day so, here we are. I started taking progesterone at 2 dpo and will test next week. I'd really like to just wait until my missed period but...I don't have a good track record with that, as I know many of you understand 😂 I'm feeling anxious about this cycle since I'm coming off the cp, but am trying to stay calm about it. I've never had a problem getting pregnant, rather staying pregnant, and I'm afraid I'll end up pregnant again and lose it too because I let my emotions take over. So, here's to a long 10 days 🙄

Month/Cycle: a lot. Can we just pretend we stopped counting at 12 mos? 1 cycle post CP
Timing: -6, -1, O, O+2
CD/DPO: 27/3
Symptoms: cramping and fatigue. Do I blame clomid and having a lot more hormones in my system than I normally do? Or ovulation? Or just life? Anyway, I’m pooped. Oh and lots of actual poop.
RRCS: I’m not sure about this timing. We wanted to get O+1, but there were so many people in our house Saturday night and I ended up PTFO from sheer exhaustion and DH didn’t want to wake me. I’ve had such crappy clomid side effects (nausea, hot flashes, cramps, mood swings), that I’ll be mad if this cycle didn’t work only because I know I’ll have to repeat this in a couple weeks. I test early because I can’t help myself so I’m going to try to contain myself to 10DPO which is when I’ve had BFPs in the past. At least then, I can start the every 2 day betas early. I have no self control.

Month/Cycle: who knows....15?
Timing: n/a we are going to start EOD today. I was going to start yesterday, but my H was tired so I figured if I suggested we hold off I would look like I'm breezy. (Which we all know I am not.) Starting today is fine because I'm still -3 away from my earliest O ever.
CD/DPO: CD 12
Symptoms:
RRCS: Hopeful for this cycle, so I will probably be crushed when/if it doesn't work out. I had 3 bfn cycles between my 2 pregnant cycles this year, and I have had 2 bfn cycles so far since the second CP, so maybe I'll get pregnant in the next couple months. I hope so because I have been having a harder and harder time as this goes on. The chemicals still make me so, so sad, but I guess it gives me more hope than not having got pregnant at all. I am very sad about all of this and it's making me so exhausted emotionally.

We are assuming his numbers are so much lower because he is doing a different job. He used to work inside in a kitchen and now he is outside in the heat and wearing a harness all day. The harness would keep his testicals closer to his body and cause them to be too warm for healthy sperm formation. He is 3 years into a 5 year apprenticeship for his family’s company so choosing another line of work is out of the question. I’m not sure if there is anything else he can do to improve his numbers enough to make a difference, but it is on my list of questions for the RE on Monday.

I’ve heard that using ice packs on the balls can help with numbers - I think for 15/20 min at a time. Not sure if it’s enough to counteract what’s going on during the day, but it may be worth looking into.

Month/Cycle: I don’t know. Working on two years of TTC.
Timing: I’m not sure. We did EOD a couple weeks ago, but I didn’t do much testing this month.
CD/DPO: CD 40.
Symptoms: Not a lot, really.
RRCS: I have been trying to not be so obsessive, and planning on IUI if this cycle doesn’t work so I am kind of unaware of where everything is right now. It’s been a nice break, honestly. Had a BFN this morning, but my cycles are all over the place so I’m trying to keep hoping anyway.
