Say what now? I have crown royal! I can't drink much lemonade because it's so acidic, but I'll be trying this.

Sounds delicious. Anything with lemonade is dangerous. See: "dirty arnie" (sweet tea vodka with lemonade), Cherry-lemonade Crush, etc.

I had something tonight with pear vodka, chambord, and champagne? It was decision.

It was *delicious but it has taken me so many times to type this, i'm leaving it.

Y'all. Besides being somewhat intoxicated, I have done the dumbest thing. WWN13D?

So I sent an email to all the squadron wives, referencing our husbands discussing a 4th of July party at work, and inviting them here for the holiday. I realized after I'd sent it that I sent it to 1 incorrect email address--somethign auto-populated and I didn't catch the mistake before sending. This was Friday.

I just got a reply from the incorrect email address--turnes out it was a preschool mom from B's class last year. She thanked me for the invite, said they already have plans, etc. I mean, she probably thinks I'm insane for inviting them--relative strangers--to this 4th of july party! But at the same time...i specifically mentioned the husbands, said nothing about school or kids, etc.

So it's a moot point, thankfully she did not accept the invite. Do I need to say anything/explain my error/etc? Or just ignore it b/c we're switching schools this fall and will likely never see this woman again?

Good evening! After I got off work I came home for a bit and then we went to the ILs for supper because my SIL and niece are here to visit for a few days. H was crabby when we got there but after eating changed her tune. The kids had a lot of fun playing together. Tomorrow we are going to meet them at a park and have a picnic.

Life has been crazy for me lately. Work is sucking the life out of me. I have so many new employees and they are NEEDY! I’m used to having plenty of returning employees each summer that don’t need me to hold their hand. So it’s really cutting into my Browsing time. I also have had to fire some volunteers that stole from us. 🤦🏼‍♀️. So I’ve had a lot going on.

But tomorrow I leave for the lake for 3 days and can leave it all behind me and relax and enjoy!

We are on our way back from Boston. We met my friend for lunch and walked around the city a chunk of the day and then went to the Barenaked Ladies concert. I only know a few songs but they put on a great show and having VIP access with a waitress and nicer bathrooms was awesome. My neck/shoulder is killing me though from all the activity. I will be passing out as soon as I get home.

Ooooh that sounds amazing. Champagne and chambord is a happy combination. A restaurant here calls it French Mimosa.
