It’s 5am and I’m awake. Normally I’d be angry about this but I signed up to work for a coworker so I can’t be. At least I get off at 2. This afternoon we are going to a friend’s house for a grill out/water play. Should be fun.

We are leaving soon to drop C off at my in laws until Wednesday. He’s so excited and got up at 6 and got himself dressed and ready to go. I’m a little anxious about it but he did great last year and Dh and I had a wonderful time alone.

Holy shit my kids are CRANKY this morning. They got up way too early. MH just took C to run some errands, I hope he sleeps a bit in the car. I'm going to request he bring back breakfast sandwiches and mimosas.

Morning! My parents took the kids to go camping for 1 night, they left early this morning. It’s amazing how much you can get done without the kids! I picked out a new pair of glasses, we got groceries, a few presents for the coming month, had brunch al before 1 ‘o clock! Dh is taking a nap, I’m watching tv. Jurassic Park this afternoon, dinner and drinks this evening  . Hope you all have a good day! |

Morning! Early morning for a Saturday. DH got up to go fishing with my brother at 6 and the kids were up at 6:30. We’re all in the same room so I couldn’t ignore them. Now we’re watching the iPad while the rest of the cabin is still asleep. Hoping the bugs aren’t as bad today because I just about lost it last night because of all the biting flies.

We've got a lot of outdoor work going today. Pool guys should only need one or two more visits to finish up, and the landscaper is coming to cut down some trees.
Otherwise just hanging outside.

Morning ladies! I got up at 6:30 to mow, but H told me to wait til 8. I told him if I hear anyone else out, it's on. It's supposed to be over 100 today and I want to get it over. I've got laundry started and am drinking some coffee. Evie was awake til 10:45 last night, she was so excited about fireworks. We sat in our neighbors driveway and did a bunch with them. We already told her we would go to a fireworks stand today to buy more. H has already spent $400 on the big ones, I'm sure he will spend that much on the smaller stuff as well. I'm getting my hair cut and colored this afternoon. We are invited to a BBQ/fireworks this evening, but with the heat and potential for severe storms, we don't know if we will go. How are the puking kiddos tgrimes and inthekitty? |

I for sure will, Dh is more than aware of all of you and even said how fun for me it would be to meet some of you ☺️! We’re going east/New England. Since Dh is a history nut (MA in modern history & teaching) I think it would be really fun to add Washington and Gettysburg, but that would all depend on when the Sox have a home game #priorities. |

H puked from 1:30-5. I just sat in the rocker in his room holding him and read yesterday’s FFFC. Now he has diarrhea. 🙄 |

DH took C out on some errands and B is home with me; DH definitely got the better end of that deal. Just have to make it til tmrw night, we have a date-night planned 😁
I watered the new plants and am about to start some housework. Our friends are due over around 4. DH has a flight from 12-2 so trying to get as much done as possible while I only have one kid to worry about.

Sorry for the pukers, that's no fun! Currently laying in bed with a snotty cat who keeps trying to rub my face with hers. No thanks, I don't need a snot mask. But, at least she's purring, between sneezing and hacking. Poor kitten. We have gymnastics and swim this morning, then mh and I are going to go see Hereditary. Morning!! I got home last night when the boys were in the bath, so I got to cuddle them both. Now we're home while DH is at the gym and my timezones are all off. I t was a really good trip though.

mwhip M slept through the night (while taking up more and more space in my bed so I currently have about 8 inches of room) so hopefully it was a one off. tgrimes for little H. 😟 I hope you all get some rest today. klong11 I haven't even heard of it yet (I usually never know what's in the theater). Morning! DH let me sleep in and we just finished breakfast. Going to run errands in a bit then get my hair cut. It's going to be hot today so we're planning on swimming. L is excited. I'm a bit concerned that MH can't seem to get the water clear. He's had it tested multiple times and added all sort of things and it just won't clear up. At least it's blue? Blue is good! Hopefully it's getting close. Is your chlorinator on? We were having some clouding issues last week and that was the source of the problem. It had been turned off when the guys were here replacing the pump and we forgot to turn it back on. Oops. DH keeps chlorine tablets in the skimmer baskets, too, and that seems to help. (disclaimer: ours is saltwater so not sure if it's different if yours is chlorine-based, etc) |

Yard is mowed, as soon as I heard the mower at the farm behind us, I told H it was on like donkey Kong. I picked up all the firework trash since we left as soon as they were done last night to get the kid to bed, and I felt like an asshole. Like hey, thanks for inviting us over, we clearly don't want to be invited over again since we didn't clean shit up!
H cleaned up the kitchen while I was mowing, so I think he did get something out of my FB post yesterday.

We are having all the pool woes over here. The house sat empty for a little over a year and a half, and it went for two summers without being opened. It started out black on June 11 and just today we can finally see the bottom of it. They just need to vacuum and we should be able to start floating. I hope the chemicals work for you. |
