Yes, those friends. The kids love it. My friend is still struggling a bit. She has found it a bit hard to make friends. She is a stay at home mom said the kids have a lot of friends over all the time but the parents drop and go (her boys are 8 and 9) so her best friend is her red solo cup. Her house looks beautiful and is probably 4 times the size of the one she left behind but her house here was the one she grew up in and both her parents have passed so that was hard.

Not much here today. I got Charlotte to take a binky for a little bit last night, so I’m super excited about that. chrisy01 I read that to get them to take a binky you can try “reverse psychology”. So give it to her and the second she sucks on it, gently tug it like you’re going to take it away. She should instinctively suck harder. That’s what I tried on C last night and it seemed to work.

Anyway, the pool and a cold beer are calling my name!

I've been mowing all morning and A cleaned the house. We're eating lunch and then putting the boys down for naps. Once they're out I'll start weed eating around our property. Trying to get the yard looking like a yard Instead of a hay field...

Yes, i can see that that would be tough. I hope she starts finding her groove soon. Moving is tough.

Hi! We are driving home from our week-long vacation in Florida with my parents, sisters, nephew/niece, etc. It was a good trip. I loved time in the gulf and on the beach. Some f’d up stuff happened before i left with my job though. I didn’t let it ruin my vacay, but now that I’m home I’m going to start looking for something else.

Depends how bad it is.

Is this the first time? Dude has had it so many times now that it is barely a nuisance to him. Seems to be less severe each time he gets it.

Hi hi, I went to the March today and it was freaking hot. I could barely hear anything but I'm glad I made it. I was interviewed by a Swiss radio station and a local news org, but I'm oddly terrified of looking them up in case I sounded like a complete idiot. Then we went to the pool and now I have to read a 20 page case study and respond in the next 3 hours. I'm so screwed, I am so tired.

I posted a bunch of good signs in IG stories, people are so clever.

Hi. We had a great time with our friends tonight--wish we lived closer and saw them more frequently. They are up in the DC area so we're hoping to go up and see them this fall. B and their oldest, who's 3.5 or so, were so cute together. He was very helpful and sweet with her.

Now we're watching a movie and eating brownies and sea salt caramel gelato, so I'm in my happy place.

I’m jealous of those who get adult time without the kids! M was supposed to go to my ILs for a week, but because of a schedule change, she is coming here for a week instead. I’m grateful for the help, but it would have been nice to just have 1 kid for a week.

Dinner was amazing. We drank the good bottle of wine we brought home from Temecula last year. It was suppose to be for our last anniversary but I was pregnant. Seemed fitting because the friends that got married there moved back there today.
