What are all you lovely ladies up to this weekend?

I'm up early. We are headed to small town Iowa for SMILs dad's 90th bday party. Just staying the night and headed back tomorrow. It's about a 4.5 hour car ride, so not terrible, but I'm trying to figure out how to keep E entertained so she isn't bored.

Morning! Safe trip, mwhip.
Both kids are up, I exercised (just two rounds of a seven minute workout) with them running around me, and MH is still sleeping.
I don't know what our plans are for today. It's really gray out so I'm hoping we see some sun and can get outside.

C was up at 6 but I was tossing and turning since 3 because my neck hurt. This morning I have a fence company coming out to give a replacement estimate and we are going to see the Incredibles at some point today. Otherwise an uneventful weekend.

DH just left to get some breakfast sandwiches; B slept til past 8, C has been up and is currently (hesitantly) petting the dog and telling her “stay”. So cute.

DH has a flight today but we’re expecting rain so that likely will get scratched. Not sure what’s on the agenda otherwise.

Morning from the road.

I’m headed to the Gulf Coast. We’re meeting my mom, SIL, and her daughter. The boys are asleep and I hope I get at least another hour before they wake up. It’s only a 3 hour drive, but M2 is not entertained by the iPad as much as M was at this age, so long car rides can be boring for him.

I’ll try to keep up while away. Hope you ladies have a great weekend!

The fence estimate was outrageous. Looks like we will probably put it off another year or so and take vacation in September. I’m not mad at that. It does mean no dog for a while but honestly we aren’t in a place for one anytime soon. And Max may possibly live forever.

Morning! I'm sitting in the front room enjoying the fact that it's not raining and I do not have to rush anywhere today. We are going to a pool party at my aunt's this afternoon, so I need to make some cookie bars, but that's about it. Lovely.

@dapostophe we have been in the car for 20 minutes (because H forgot his wedding ring so we had to turn around) and she's already watching her tablet. I brought some brain quest things and she was bored after 10 minutes with them. At least maybe I can read.

I'm on closet-cleaning purge. Just finished doing clothes (stuff I have been holding onto for way too long) and am now posting some houseware/decor items on FB marketplace. I've never used it before but we shall see...

Morning! I had a super hard workout this morning and am rewarding myself with eggs and a screwdriver.

Morning - j has a fever so he's parked on the couch. I'm trying to straighten up and mh is taking a full day test. My project went live last night and it went well, but I'm anxious about if it will work next week. I have a lot of classwork to get done during naptime and after bedtime too. We are supposed to meet friends at a winery tomorrow, but they have a newish baby so prob need to cancel since j is feverish.

Morning!! We hanging out outside- it’s a beautiful day! Dh is in a golf tournament this afternoon and I’ll take the kids out to my parents after nap to spend some time out there.
Our cooking class was a lot of fun last night. Stayed up too late and the kids did not sleep in. Naps for everyone later.

Ugh this day sucks. The plans we had fell trough. I dropped my phone and the screen was shattered in a bazillion pieces and it wasn’t cheap to get fixed. I just left the dinner table because even with a meal I made because it’s fun, dd was not eating and just keeping bites in her mouth and my frustration level got to high. I can’t deal with two difficult eaters. Plus she’s a nightmare to put down every evening, wakes up amost every night and is up at 05.30 every day. I’m on my period, tired and hungry. Rant over. Back to catching up.

She keeps saying she wants to go to an indoor play place, so I may take her tomorrow for a bit.

So much for the forecast showing rain--it's sunny and humid so DH just left for the airport. I'm hoping he's going to be able to switch to an earlier Saturday lesson, b/c 2-4 pm just absolutely kills the day since C naps from 12-2ish.

tallb I wonder if J has what B had this week...ran a fever for a day and then it's morphed into a bad cold. Regardless, hope he is feeling better soon!

Hey, Happy Saturday!

MH went golfing with the neighbour this morning, so me and the other wife took the kids to the park all morning, the 4 of them played so nice together for 2.5 hours! J is just down for a nap and I’ve got laundry to fold and budgeting to do. Not sure what’s happening this afternoon but probably outside time.

And I’ve got to run out and buy all the things for our Canada Day celebration bbq with the neighbours next weekend. I think i’m going to rent a bouncy house for the kids as a surprise!

Hello. I just took the 3 youngest to Target and out to lunch. DH is at hockey with the other one. DD’s spa party is tonight and she’s super excited-hair, nails, facials, make-up, slime making, karaoke, and a fashion show followed by pizza and cake. As usual we have an odd mix of girls from school, soccer, gymnastics, hockey siblings, etc. so hoping I can make them all comfortable.

I'm sorry you're having such a frustrating time with the kids, nam2013. Feeding issues are the worst. And sleep trouble on top of it is not helping. Hope J turns a corner with that soon.

We're at FIL's and will be heading home for nap in a few minutes.

Then we're going to my dad's for a BBQ.

Nothing on the agenda for tomorrow except a trip to Home Depot. Atticus has started telling me what kind of lunch bag and backpack he wants for elementary school. I can't believe that's really happening soon!

Hmm, I wonder! I'll take that over a prolonged fever.. hope B is over the worst of his cold. Something is going around at school but not sure long how kids were out for.
