inthekitty Did you say your kids’ last day of school is soon? It’s interesting to me because i thought NY had the latest summer break. I thought most of the rest of the country got out in late May/early June and go back in August. We are don’t next Friday and go back the Wednesday after Labor Day.

snoopmommymom today was our states last day! It normally varies based on snow days. We used to start at the end of August but our d-head of a governor just signed a bill saying school has to start after labor day to benefit the beaches. No concerns for working parents that have to find childcare for an extra few weeks or the fact that testing dates aren't being pushed back.. I honestly would love a year round schedule with a few longer breaks throughout the year.

Pete wanted me to get another quote. I did. $16,000... Can you send me what they are doing. Coworker J's dad does AC work. He can tell me if that's the right pricing. I would also check with Costco. We're waiting for the details (should be here tonight) but it's all new HVAC - furnace, air, ducts, coils, etc. inthekitty good thinking with Costco. We're on our way now for our usual Friday night grocery run, I'll check. |

Thanks for the wishes. lahdeedah I have hnit taken him to the dr. I rarely do, unless they’re really sick or it’s persistent But I probably should listen with all of the strep around here. If he’s not better by tomorrow, I’ll take him in Sunday morning (our pedi has weekend hours from 8-12) |

Shit cagoldi. I hope Costco has better news for you. Considerably better news. tgrimes - It was a good trip. My motel was super shady but the offices we visited were amazing despite not even being the more famous campus. Lots of free food, beautiful weather, and productive meetings. Plus I got to catch up with one of my best friends over the phone while waiting for my flight last night. But still glad to be home! |

cagoldi ugh, you have all my worries. I had to replace the units in our old house so I feel your pain. wedding that’s so frustrating !! Re: swim lessons. Landon is the only one who has had them and he only had one a session, but I was a lifeguard and talked for swim lessons way back in the day so I’ve pretty much taught all the boys. That’s a lot of money though lahdeedah vino I’m crossing everything!!! I’ll go to Paris or nice or anywhere for the n13 retreat! Hi I’m just popping in to say hi! We leave for the airport at 6 am tomorrow and I’ve been packing and cleaning all day! I did get my hair done and a spray tan though so I’m ready to go!!!

I'm sorry it's a rough time right now tallb, I'm sure you're not sucking as parents, it's just a rough patch, just keep on going. We're here if you need to vent/chat. big hugs. Thanks😘 I have a project going live next Friday and MH has a huge test next Saturday so hoping things perk up once that's over. I am not exercising, eating right, or getting enough sleep so that's not ideal. And I'm crying every night thinking about 2000 kids that were essentially kidnapped by my government and not with their parents..I know we don't really talk politics here much anymore, but I miss people freaking the f out about this stuff. Bc if anything needs freaking out over, I think this is it - everyone should be upset not just democrats. It haunts me thinking of these kids at night, my own spoiled rotten 4 year old can't even get through the night alone, imagine if he had literally no idea where we were or where he was? Ugh it just makes me sick. Or taking breastfeeding kids away from their mom? Wtaf is going on here, why are we such monsters? Sorry, end rant. I'm sure this is over on the politics board, prob should head over there.. |

tallb I hate that the kids were taken from their parents, I get the worst pit in my stomach. This should not he real life, it’s disgusting. Nobody should have to fight to stay together. Sorry for the man-child selfish, racist, joke of a human being ‘leader’ right now. Yuck, some one has got to have a count down on when that fucker is out.

I've also been heartbroken by these disgraceful stories of poor immigrant families. Seeing children in literal cages is so disturbing. A group I follow for Reserve officers had a posting about job opportunities to work at the he tent cities they are erecting and included counseling positions. The listing showed more pictures of these poor kids. I thought these poor babies don't need counseling though, they need to be with their parents and not in fucking cages. Dump continues to enrage me more and more everyday. 2.5 more years of this shit is way too long. I'm over anyone still supporting him.

snoopmommymom yep, we're still in school in Washington through next Wednesday. I was surprised it goes so late here. Where I grew up in Oregon we'd normally go through the second week in June and always start after Labor day. Here we start after Labor Day still.

Thanks guys, it's reassuring to hear. Don't forget to call your reps and push to stop this..the red States especially need pressure to know this is not okay. I emailed mine yesterday but they are speaking out against it already.
Also Sessions with his awful Bible quote - he basically found the worst quote in the Bible to justify this and also we aren't a religious country so who cares what the Bible says! He really is pure evil.

I'm PWing over here, before anyone wakes up. Guys, I forgot to mention it the other day...but the new couch is ridiculous. When they delivered it, I was like OMG. It's freaking huge! Pics! It's tough to get a good picture of it, but that rug is 8x10 to give you an idea of scale. When you lay on one chaise there is something like 12 ft between you and the person on the other one! *Poof* |
