I kind of want to paint the new kitchen cabinets white 😬 (definitely the top ones) Does anyone have any great tips or products for keeping them clean/white.... because kids. ?? Baby wipes. I have white cabinets and only H gets them dirty with his fingers. Usually after eating cheetos. Other than that, I really don't have many issues with keeping them clean. |

Well I spoke too soon. He says he feels bad again. That his belly hurts. Keeps asking for more medicine We stopped to get B and MH lunch and he’s relaxing Nooooo! |

I was told high gloss paints are easier to clean. I also 2nd baby wipes. |

Did I show y’all the father’s day card I got for my dad?   My dad would love this. So far all I have for him are band-aids with Shakespearean insults, which he will love. He still proudly displays his "World's Okayest Dad" mug at work. I don't have any ideas for Pete except maybe arranging to surprise him with a date to the wine bar. |

cagoldi has the air conditioner man came by yet? How is x this morning? Not yet. I should be hearing from them soon. ATT fixed my internet though, so that's one problem down, nineteen more to go! X is okay. Super clingy but the extra snuggles are the only good thing about a sick toddler. I'm dreading the pedi visit since he'll need injections. Once he wakes up from his little nap I'll take him out to the trails in the jogging stroller to kill some time and let him watch birds and pick wildflowers. P is supposed to be helping me in the kitchen but she's lying down on the job.   |

(I know every newborn is like that) I quit telling Pete I need to get lunch or something in the kitchen because she'll sleep through jackhammers but the minute I think about stuffing a morsel of food into my face P is like oh? You thought I was going to let you eat?! |

tgrimes , lolz. Kids are fun, aren't they? jewels , sending good health vibes! Have a great time. I was annoyed with MH because he let Maddie play sick today. Dude, there's only 5 days of school left. He assured me he'd make her lay in bed and clean most of the day though. chrisy01 , hang in there. That was the toughest adjustment for me by far. I have been putting off thinking/finding a gift for MH for Fathers Day. I'm really not his biggest fan right now so this is making it hard. Mental note for next year: write down gifts when I like him  I keep a Pinterest board throughout the year with gift ideas for myself, kids, H, or anyone else random I think of. Otherwise I'm wracking my brain...my memory just isn't what it once was :/ I wish I had suggestions for you. I'm off the hook this year b/c my H bought himself a $$$ head set for flying and said to call that Father's Day. I'll probably still get him some new boxers from JCrew or something if I can get over there. |

Went to run errands after my shots. I went to 2 stores looking for the unicorn cake and couldn't find it. I walked into the house and there is a balloon and flowers in the living room and a unicorn cake in the fridge! Mh said he and Cadence left early and picked it up and dropped it off before he left for work. 😍 Well done, Mr KLongoria |

Hi all. We biked over to my sisters this morning and have just been hanging out outside. The kids had lunch so we’ll head home soon for naps time. Tonight there is a boat parade and fireworks and we’ll have a sitter at the house after the kids are in bed so we can go out.

cagoldi those pics are sweet! Sorry X is still not feeling well! tgrimes Love the card, did you get it at a chain store? I still need to get cards for H. I purchased tickets to the Royals game a few months ago, so we will take his dad and step mom with us. That's his present, it was freaking expensive since I wanted seats I knew would be in the shade. A group of us went to lunch today. We decided while eating that we needed drinks this afternoon, so me and the VP of Sales went to the liquor store. She paid for it all (yay!) and as we were leaving, I saw a $20 on the ground right outside the door. So it was basically like getting the wine for free! This is two weeks in a row that co-workers have bought my wine! Plus we get bonuses tomorrow.

TW My grandma passed away a little while ago. I went to see her last night and she was bad but we were able to talk a bit. I went back with C this morning as soon as I took the others to school. I knew it was the end. I spent a few hours with her and then left because C was fussing and my dad had come. Stopped for groceries on the way home and as soon as I got to my house, my dad called that she was gone. I’m dreading telling my kids but otherwise I feel grateful that she is no longer suffering. She was 98.
