Hi ladies. This weekend was rough with everyone feeling crappy. And last night MH got hit hard so he is home with a fever of 103. No one is sleeping well, even W who is usually good wakes up in the middle of the night and he cannot handle it so it's kind of a shit show.

But it will be ok, I think the worst is over and the kids at least are over the hump so now we just have to clear it.

We did get a few things done this weekend. We had another realtor come out and look at the house and made a few suggestions for getting the place ready to sell, and we agreed we need to try to get on the market by July 1 so there's a lot to do. Luckily once the kids aren't so sick we have lots of grandparents around to help.

We also finally got around to some life insurance paperwork and I went to Vacation Bible School leadership training last night (VBS is next week). I'll be a classroom coordinator so basically just troubleshooting for the teachers. I'm excited W gets to do his first VBS, I think he will have fun.

Will try to be more active this week! I feel like I have been bad lately, it's just been hard to keep up with everything going on. I hope everyone has been well.

I'm working from home today and tomorrow which is pretty much going to be working during C's naps because the kid is going crazy over laptops lately. He threw himself towards it earlier and almost smacked his face into the edge. I'm also seeing if he can hold his own bottle and feed himself but he's not lifting it and the dog is distracting him. He's gotten really good with his sippy cup lately. Is there a rule about putting formula in sippy cups at this age? I don't remember.

Well thank you! I think having more than one kid can sometimes be good for getting things done. They can sit and play together sometimes (when no one is feeling like a level 10 clinger).

I feel like I hardly have a free minute. I don't know why I ferl so busy, but I do.
My mom's surgery went well. we wont know if it made a difference until after it heals though. We'll get to spend lots of time together though with us both off work lol.

goldenlove Lillian had an obsession with my laptop when she was a baby, too. I was doing part time scoring from home and it was so hard to do. She wasn't a good sleeper so I had to figure out how to do it while she played. I also agree with Starbuck. It is a bit easier with two when they can entertain each other. The Ls have started to play together and it's awesome.

Even if there is a rule, who cares?  If he can drink it out of the sippy cup on his own, let him do it!  It was hell to get M off the bottle at 13 months.

Hi ladies. Dh and mil took Lillian and the dog to the lake so I've had the morning to myself so far. Lilah slept until 7:30 which was awesome. Today we're going to go down to Boulder. We lived there for a year so we like to visit now and then to see our favorite spots. FIL is grilling again tonight so we'll be making smores for dessert. Yummy. Should be a good day.

I'm considering going back to school so I can be a librarian. I'm not sure how to do that with two kids. We'll see.

B woke up with a snotty cough and has been all over C and myself this morning; fingers crossed we do not get sick, too.

I have dinner (pulled pork) going in the crockpot and while C naps I'm trying to figure out DH's Father's Day gift. I feel bad that we won't be with him ON the actual day--we're flying to Maine on Sunday--so I made dinner reservations for Saturday night and I might make a key lime pie.

Omg a librarian classymrsa!! How wonderful! There's a 90% online masters program for becoming a school nurse I've been thinking about doing. If I could get her to sleep better I think it's totally doable at night time, but I can't even think about that right now the way things are going.

My brother did a few days in a school nurse's office while he was in nursing school. He said it was pretty easy and of course you get the school schedule which is awesome. But, I know he makes way more as an ER nurse than he would as a school nurse. Not sure if that's generally true for nursing or not.

And no! I have so much I want to read, but finding the time is hard. Even on vacation I still haven't even finished a single book.

I think N is in the lead for most ear infections?? tgrimes how many has H had? She's on her 3rd since March and now has a double. She was up from 1-4 last night and we ended up with her in the bunny and me on the couch. I won't be surprised if we end up with tubes.

Also now she wants to roll over in bed. I think once she's feeling better some Ferber is in our future. This whole weekend was a bit of a bust bc we were too tired to do anything.
