I think N is in the lead for most ear infections?? tgrimes how many has H had? She's on her 3rd since March and now has a double. She was up from 1-4 last night and we ended up with her in the bunny and me on the couch. I won't be surprised if we end up with tubes. Also now she wants to roll over in bed. I think once she's feeling better some Ferber is in our future. This whole weekend was a bit of a bust bc we were too tired to do anything. This is only his 2nd, that I know of, anyway. Once he's better and I have his tummy under control, we will be sleep training, too. He's almost perfected the art of paci insertion on his own.

Ha N is the opposite though with the pacifier, she's at the perfect age to remove the pacifier. She pulls the wubbanub out and swings the frog around by it's leg and yells...

goldenlove How did you make him into a gif? Am I teachable? It's pretty easy.. I just uploaded it on giphy and it spits out the link. I just have to find out if it ended up on the world wide web or if it's private. giphy.com/upload

I just finished a really cute book by Bunmi Laditan - Confessions of a Domestic Failure. It's a funny (sometimes over the top) book about being a new mom. At one point, I might have teared up because I related to it so much lol. Just wanted to share.

I love love love her blog/FB page, The Honest Toddler. Hysterical. I haven't seen much from her lately--I think the book has been her focus--but if you need a laugh just go read old posts.

Good Morning!
I'm trying to stay caught up here while wading through a crap ton of emails. It's amazing how many people suddenly have urgent issues on the one day I'm out of the office. I had a 3 day weekend, but it was so bust I really could use another day just to recover.

Finally have a free minute to check in! Not much happening today, just work and the gym this evening. We had our deck painted this weekend and I'll take a picture of it when I get home. Not impressed with the service at all. Don't call your company Two Day Painting if it's going to take you 4 days to get it done. At least it's done and looks decent, I'm not 100% sold on the colors quite yet, but I'll get there, I know, fwp.

goldenlove I use formula in the straw cup. I want them to first learn what it is/what it does before liquid come and flying at them and they choke bc they're startled as to a new taste. So if there's a rule about it, I don't know and don't care - I'm sticking my fingers in my ears and plugging along. If I'm not mistaken I think the bigger concern was vice verse - putting other things in a bottle (like juice or something). sophiegrace Wow employee of the year that scheduler. Remember to spike her punch at your xmas party with a laxative. starbuck It sounds like you guys have your hands full at the moment just trying to get everyone back to 100% but somehow you still get stuff done - go girl! classymrsa Hopefully you had a nice quiet morning with L. Enjoy your s'mores ! flamingo I still haven't taken care of Fathers Day gift either 😳

You can create an account and add tags and I think that makes them public, but they are private first.

I've got a whine and wine about my sister's wedding next year.
Whine: Apparently they booked a place yesterday and so they have a date. The venue is in Maryland, an hour away from where my sister lives, and 4 hours from where my parents live in NJ. It's going to take a lot for me to not be salty over this, considering that DH and I really wanted to get married on the Cape, but I was told that no one would come to our "destination wedding" and then given an ultimatum to have my wedding in NJ or else. But I shouldn't have expected anything more. My sister and I have been treated completely differently my entire life and this is sooooo par for the course.
Wine: They're getting married in early October, which means we feasibly could move up our TTC schedule next year and start around April.

Love them tgrimes!! So cute. That would be annoying dashook and sucks that it's expected behavior. You should have been able to have the wedding you wanted.

tgrimes those pictures are everything! flamingo I can't stop thinking about key line pie dashook explain to me again how this wedding has effect on your ttc schedule? Whatever it is, you sound happy, so that's good! TTMA sippy cups: do you all have the type that you actually have to suck, or the basic one that just pours out? E has not at all figured out the sucking one. Wondering if I should just switch to a slow pouring one.

hangry since we have to travel out of state for her wedding with the two kids, and all 4 of us are in the wedding, I just don't want to be too close to a potential EDD when it rolls around. I was 38 weeks with D for my brother's wedding this past November and it suckkkked. And I only had one LO to wrangle and it was 4 hours closer. Anyway, her moving the date a bit earlier means we can start trying a little earlier and not have to worry too much if we are successful early on.

Watching Tiny Houses on HGTV waiting for Southern Charm.
Couple just took delivery of their tiny home, and announced that they're expecting a baby.
Hahahahahaha.
I want to drink heavily *for* them.

I just started on a sippy with C within the past week or so; I started with B when he was 4-5 mo. #secondchildproblems
She doesn't really have the hang of it yet but I just put water in it and let her mess around/make a mess.

That show cracks me up. I love the people who are like i want a tiny house but I also want a full size bathtub, full size fridge and a washer and dryer. I could maybe live in a bigger tiny house, like 600sqft. But only if I lived alone. Hell effing no to having a newborn (or any kids) in a tiny house.

The one tonight was really attractive, but when they started explaining how they're going to put the baby in the now-master bedroom--which is a LOFT(!)--and they'll sleep on a pull-out twin bed 'downstairs'...I was like, yep, hope tiny houses have good resale value!
