I’m becoming more convinced that the pain the other night was ovulation. I got a really light opk today and my boobs hurt which is normal post O for me. I also looked back at my other long cycle and I O’d on cd32 so very similar. I’m annoyed. But at least we kept having sex so I suppose there is still a chance this cycle. Our timing was -2 and O. So two more weeks of this horrible cycle.

orangehibiscus, so many hugs. MH doesn't quite understand my feelings surrounding my losses either. They just aren't as immersed in this, it's not their bodies, but that's no excuse. Feel free to vent to us anytime <3

I’m glad you finally O’d obscureference and that you had good timing! Sorry for this long, very frustrating cycle. Thank you charliefox! I wish our H’s would get it. I’m so thankful to have the support of this amazing group though!

I left another message for my RE's nurse this morning and sent a message through the portal. They finally called me back this afternoon. It turns out this week is my RE's last week before retirement AND his nurse left, so there's a lot going on. Not really an excuse, but I'll try to cut them some slack.
They want me to go in tomorrow for labs and an ultrasound, so hopefully that will provide some answers!

Met with my RE this morning. He said what I suspected he would say regarding more aggressive interventions. Basically since my AMH is so low, he recommends going straight to donor eggs. IUI and IVF with my eggs would not increase our chances significantly. That was disappointing to hear but I am equal parts relieved and upset about IVF being taken off the table for us. I never wanted to go that far to begin with so in a sense it makes the decision easy. On the other hand it sucks to not at least have the option for a higher chance of success. We will not do donor eggs. If we get that far, I would rather adopt.
He also said that he is not happy about how I am responding to the femara. He said that I am a bit of a confusing case because usually women respond or don’t respond, not respond well a few cycles and then others not. I told him I want to do do one more cycle because I have the ovidrel sitting in the fridge so we are going to do a clomid cycle with trigger and TI.
Despite all of that, I left feeling more hopeful, not less. He is just a great doctor and so optimistic and encouraging. He told me that I can get pregnant, it will just take a bit of luck! (And more time of course.)

obscureference , I'm sorry your conversation with your RE was difficult, but I'm glad you are feeling hopeful. Are you planning to get a second opinion by any chance?

I went in for labs and an ultrasound this morning. My right ovary likes to hide, so the vag cam was pretty painful as usual. They were able to see part of it, including the cyst. It has shrunk a little, down to 40 some odd mm, from 55mm in early May. They said they would check my labs and we would go from there. So, they called me this afternoon and said that my estrogen is pretty high (they didn't give numbers unfortunately) and my progesterone is low. So, they want me to wait another week and if AF still isn't here, call them back to come in for another ultrasound and labs. The fellow that did my scan said we may have to wait for the cyst to resolve or possibly remove it ( ), or I may be able to resume treatment, it just depends on my labs. So, I guess it's a waiting game for now...

meggo Waiting is the worst. And there’s so much of it with IF. I hope AF shows soon. I’m not sure if I will get a second opinion. charliefox I am going to do a clomid cycle with trigger and TI after this cycle is over. I will probably try a couple clomid cycles and see how I respond. He didn’t mention injectibles. Since I don’t feel like we have to save money for IVF now I figured I’d just keep doing meds for now. Unless clomid makes me have these long cycles, then I’ll probably just stop meds.

I posted this over on TTGP but I feel like I should put it here too. Monitoring u/s yesterday I had a 24mm and a 15mm. The NP doing my scan wanted to trigger right away and then do a 24hr IUI and I pushed back. I felt she was rushing me because the weekend loomed. Despite a follicle that seemed ready, and thick lining, I don't feel as if my body was actually ready. She looked at me like I was crazy but I only had fertile signs start the day before and I usually have 3-5 days of those before O. I feel as though our timing has been somewhat off and weird for each IUI so I just didn't want to jump into it while not feeling "right". Plus, if we give my body a few more days then that 15 might have enough time to grow.
Anyway, there is a high likelihood that we'll just being doing TI this cycle. I can call when I get a +OPK and they'll schedule a 24hr IUI but it could be tough with the weekend (still neg opk this afternoon). I'm totally fine with just TI instead of a poorly timed IUI.
Side note, this is the second time I've had that particular NP and I really don't like her. The office has 2 and the other one is so much better.
Oh, in any case we have a meeting with our RE on Tuesday to discuss options/IVF.
Hope everyone here has a good weekend!!!

Hi friends, thank you so much for the love and support. I am going to be cheerleading from afar now. Just got a HPT+ at 10DPO this morning, never tested positive this early which feels like a good sign to me, and it was clear though super faint. Maybe the baby aspirin has already made a difference for a healthy implantation for once! Traveling for a conference tomorrow morning so need to get Lovenox filled. Lots of hope that with this simple treatment this will be our take-home baby! Sending all the love, hope and prayers for you guys. It's hard to leave. (((hugs!!!)))

My clinic wants me to come in on Tuesday for a baseline ultrasound and labs, so that will be the deciding point on what to do next.

obscureference I’m glad you have a plan and that your conversation with your RE went well. meggo I hope your cyst goes away ASAP! I also hope you don’t need to have it removed. I had one removed, but it was incidentally found during a surgery I was having anyways.

Thanks, guys. My first beta (Sunday at 10dpo) was 21. I'm hopeful because I've never tested positive so early, and I've had numbers around 20 at the 14-15DPO range other times (losses). Out of town so repeat won't be until Thursday. But I am just going to assume all is well!
