Walked around the park while DD played with some friends. I officially give up, I’ve tried all the things that are supposed to induce labor. This baby is happy I guess and I will just be pregnant forever.

I had an appt this morning and the OB I saw today (and really like) told the baby he's on call this weekend so it would be a good time to come 😂 If only it actually worked like that. I'm 37w5d and I think it'll be a couple more weeks

After she would eat it was more liquid then other times it look curdled...she would nurse and then just scream, arching her back until she threw up. It was a lot too. She also would just start gagging it was scaring me so bad. Our pedi said a good indicator is when they arch their back like that after eating because they are in pain. Do you think DD may have it? E doesn’t arch her back much. She just spits up a lot after eating. Lactation thinks it’s bc her latch isn’t great and she is getting more air/gas which is causing the reflux. Oh yeah that could be ... at first I thought Gemma’s was having trouble because of heavy let down but she was even doing it after drinking from a bottle

Oh, right. Growth spurt at week three is a thing. That would explain the constant eating yesterday. I can't say how many times I said "Oh there's no way he's hungry right now, he just ate!" With DS1 I always liked following the Wonder weeks, I forgot about it until now lol

Im going to guess that the LC recommended trying different positions? L's gas seems to be helped by doing a more vertical hold while nursing. Although she isn't spitting up or vomiting so it may not help you either.

Glad to hear you're moving off of the blanket lemons! Hope you can get some rest armpants. I forget, was your DS a c section too? Or is this new for you? Hang in there robot. Do you think your due date was accurate? How was the massage? My adjusted due date is tomorrow. I had an appointment yesterday and asked for a check - baby is very low and I'm about 2-3 cm dilated. I consider this pretty good progress because with my first I didn't really dilate at all until labor started. I went for a good walk yesterday and then got a mani pedi. Today I had a massage and she hit some of the labor inducing pressure points. So we'll see. I might try another walk tonight, and who knows, maybe even some sex. I'm starting to really feel ready to meet baby. My first was 3 days overdue, but he was exactly 40w from when I think I ovulated. If this one follows the same pattern she'd come tomorrow or Thursday.

tinydancer The massage was lovely but nothing in terms of labor. I’m 100% confident about my dates. I was tracking super closely since I’d had a loss a couple months earlier.

She has a lip and tongue tie so we are going to a pediatric dentist for an eval on that.

man am I glad that my best friend came to help me out today. I had literally 0 idea where to start, and she just dove in and started organizing. We have the play pen out on the living room now, all made up and ready to go. Just need the changing table (which is coming this weekend), and to turn the futon into a bed and we'll be as organized as we're going to be. I feel really silly though. I barely did anything and I feel exhausted and worn out.

That totally sounds like something I'd say too lol. And it's even worse because of the malaise that comes with the cholestasis I literally just had cereal for supper, and I'm laying here watching the Handmaids Tale and considering turning it off and going to bed. It's just past 7...

I was at the park with DS this morning and a lady came up and introduced herself to me because she's an L&D nurse and said that based on the way I was walking she's going to see me by the end of the week. I hope she's right. Also, LOL at this small town.

My big kid turned 3 today. I don’t know where the time has gone. He’s with grandma and grandpa because H and I took L to a concert. I had some guilt earlier about ditching him on his birthday, but we’ve been celebrating for days and my mom sent me tons of pictures and videos as evidence of all of the fun he’s having.

I think Harper might have some reflux issues, too. Apparently preemies are more likely to have it. She doesn't spit up a lot but arches her back while eating and will actually start whimpering while eating. Plus she hates laying on her back after eating. We hold her upright.
I plan on talking to her pedi at her appointment next week. It's not so horrible that she isn't eating at all, it just takes her awhile to eat and is inconvenient that we have to hold her so much after eating.

robot Have you tried a pedicure? I think there are some labor inducing pressure points that you could have massaged during a pedicure. I hope tonight is the night for you!

You guys remember wonder weeks? Well...there is one around 4.5-5.5 weeks so...get ready.
It took E almost 2.5 hours to go to sleep tonight. Couldn’t figure out why. She wanted to comfort nurse which she never does.

Yesterday I felt awful. Nauseous with an upset stomach , heartburn and exhaustion all rolled into one.
There is so much that needs to get done here but I am feeling terrible so it isn’t happening. Ideally I would like her to stay put until next Tuesday but I have no clue if that will happen. Tomorrow at my doctors appointment we are going to talk labor and delivery. I am 38+5 days.
I am so swollen which is what they are concerned about but my blood pressure is completely normal as of last week so we will see.

fancynewbeesly, I was super swollen with my son but my BP and protein were completely normal. Make sure you're staying hydrated but not over hydrating yourself. FX your DD2 waits to come until after Monday.
