My toddler is really getting on my nerves today. I'm struggling. I'm so ready for Monday. Yup! Except Monday means I’m home alone with both cause DH is at work 😭

Ya'll are making me nervous for three at home with me. Getting them to daycare can also break you. You can’t win either way!

Hey guys, I've been terrible at keeping up lately. Nesting has "finally" kicked in. I've vacuumed my car (and the garage because I'm crazy), done a ton if baby laundry, and cleaned a bunch of stuff up that was just shoved in the nursery. I need DS or MH to move some things downstairs, but I think DS will be able to help me tomorrow.
I just found out I'm GBS negative, which is great because that means I won't be required to have an IV at all. Our hospital has a birthing center inside it down the hall from labor and delivery and I'm planning on trying a water birth. I was able to labor in a tub with DS but had to get in bed to give birth (different hospital). DD came so fast I barely made it in the bed. I'm a little worried this one will be am even quicker labor and we won't make it to the hospital at all, but I think we'll leave ASAP as soon as we realize labor has started.
I hope all of you that are overdue go into labor soon. DD (my 2nd) was born 9 days late so I feel your pain. At least labor was shorter to make up for it. This one could be a smidge early and not 9lb2oz like DD and I'll be thrilled.

We found out Gemma has Acid Reflux they started her on meds on Friday and it’s helped a lot! Poor baby was so miserable Also life with 2 has proven to keep me pretty busy lol I feel like I’m constantly going going going. Please tell me more about her reflux. What were her symptoms? Was her spit up more liquid-y or more curdled milk?

This is random. I had heard great things about the baby k’tan but thought I couldn’t use it because I’m so large (plus size plus a chest that requires specialty boutique bras.). But I tried a XL and it actually fits well!!! I love it because it’s qyicker to use and more breathable than the moby but the carry is the same and just as comforting and comfortable for us both!!! That's so exciting! I am plus sized but moderate chest sized. The chart said I only need a L and it's still sitting in her closet. I have been skeptical on the sizing so I'm glad to know that their size recommendations appear to be accurate. I might pull it out today to try.

Ugh. I felt so good and I was taking it easy for the most part. Apparently I over did it yesterday, even though I barely did anything. So between that and being tied to an outlet for the Bili Blanket im really quite frustrated and anxious. I’m sorry hope you’re feeling better & more settled today. Also that LO is responding well to the bili blanket and y’all can ditch it soon.

She also would just start gagging it was scaring me so bad. Our pedi said a good indicator is when they arch their back like that after eating because they are in pain. Do you think DD may have it?

So between that and being tied to an outlet for the Bili Blanket im really quite frustrated and anxious. How long does he need the blanket? Do they test everyday to see his levels? Give yourself some time, you had a baby less than a week ago 🙂 Just did a blood draw this morning to see where his levels are. Waiting to hear results from the doctor to see if we can stop the blanket. I’m trying to be patient with my body but I hate sitting sillf. On top of that DD and DH have terrible colds. I’m trying to keep DS and myself from catching it.

I liked using the k'tan last time but mostly just around the house. I'm hoping to get more use this time.
I also just bought a used silk ring sling so we'll see how that goes. I have a double layer linen that we used a bit but it's not very well broken in and a bit intimidating.

I'm 4 wks PP tomorrow, so I'm getting closer to full function, but I've been overdoing it since I got home.

Doc wants me to stop the blanket at midnight and go for a rebound level draw tomorrow morning. It's so hard to just relax, especially with a toddler tornado running around.

My tornado goes to daycare during the week, thankfully, but that makes it just as bad activity-wise because that's my only chance to run errands and do stuff around the house, so I overdo it then too.

I get you on the toddler tornado, thank god she still naps 1-2h in the afternoon so that I can rest too 😣

MH had a patient today who is 42+1. Over 42 weeks and it’s 98°F here 😩 Update- she is now 42+4 and has an OB appointment Thursday. Not an induction date just an appointment.

What a day. H dropped DS at my dad's this morning since her birthday period him on Monday and Tuesday. H gets home and says he isn't feeling great, then next thing I know he's down and out with a stomach bug. So I got my brother to come get clothes so DS could stay with my dad tonight. Then I called MIL to bring stuff for H. So I've had to take care of myself today and really monitor myself on not overdoing it. H feels much better tonight, so fx he's 100% tomorrow.

E doesn’t arch her back much. She just spits up a lot after eating. Lactation thinks it’s bc her latch isn’t great and she is getting more air/gas which is causing the reflux.

I think I've slept for all of about 4 hours. My heartburn is just soooo bad, it feels like my throat is burning. Just took a pill and ate some yogurt, so now I'm going to go prop myself up on the couch and see if I can get another couple of hours before I need to start my day.

Chiming in to add some love for the k'tan. I loved it last time and am trying to get this guy into it. So far I can't get him in there quite right and he is all squished and mad usually. I really could use it so I hope he gets used to it.
My husband accepted a job out of state so we are moving next month. The house is being listed in a few days so it has been a lot of cleaning and getting things ready. It is overwhelming to say the least, but I am hoping it settles down soon and the house gets an offer quickly.

Oh, right. Growth spurt at week three is a thing. That would explain the constant eating yesterday. I can't say how many times I said "Oh there's no way he's hungry right now, he just ate!"
