I really need my left breast to stop leaking while F is on the right >< may have to start hooking up to the pump during feedings I've seen people post about a Haakaa pump thing in a cloth diaper group I'm in. It's based on suction and you can use it to catch milk that's dripping from the opposite side while nursing www.amazon.com/dp/B01F8W7CF0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_r1pmBbVWC2RY9

Also, I have to feed both sides every time and always start on the right for that reason. The same thing happened with my son and it didn't get better the year plus that I nursed.

Even if I start on that side and feed him until it's "empty", I still wind up leaking a good 10-15 ml. My shirt was soaked this morning (no bra at night, though I might need to figure something out) and when I put an open bottle beneath my nipple to catch the drips I was shocked at how much I got

I wear nursing camisoles every night with pads for leaking. I think last time I was able to not wear pads after 4 months? That's one of my least favorite things about nursing...I just want to be bra free.

It's my last week before I go back to work. 😮 DD is 10 weeks old today and I'm ready but not ready at the same time.
I'm trying to soak up the cuddles instead of being annoyed that I can't get stuff done. It's like she knows cause she's already been extra clingy this morning.

The stray breast tissue in my armpits hurt so badly today. I took a Norco, Sudafed, and am wearing a lovely combination of a sports bra and ice packs.
Baby had her first checkup this morning and is doing great though. Not that I needed a pediatrician to tell me that: she's such a little happy healthy little baby and I can't get enough of her.

Ive hit that sleep deprived hormonal point 7 weeks in where I just want W to have a sleep so we can all have a rest, but then immediately miss her closeness so when she wakes up I’m so glad to see her and look at her little face and smell her.

My armpit has been sore for the past couple weeks and I don't even have an outside baby yet. I hope your supply regulates and the pain goes away soon

For those with leaky boobs I've been using lacti-cups in my bra (on Amazon) and have been getting at least an extra ounce (sometimes 2-3) through out the day.
I also miss going bra less at night but one day my body will be my own again 😉

So DH and I actually really enjoy the second baby so much more than our first. Our first DD was amazing as a newborn/infant, but we were definitely more stressed as newborn parents. Plus, we quickly realized, with the second no one really stops over or bothers us as much as the first. It is kind of nice.

I HAVE to wear breast pads all the time and I also go these little cups that go in your bra and collect the milk that leaks out while feeding. I’ll find them and link it for you. Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to get something for the leaks lol. I feel like it's just going to get worse from here (please don't tell me if I'm right lol).

I'm never going to have a chubby baby. A is still below birth weight and now I have to supplement with formula at night. This happens with every baby I've had, but I'm still annoyed. Somehow they never get enough calories in the beginning.
Before birth I'm always at the doctor because they start small and then after birth I'm still always at the doctor because they start small!

Fs stump just fell off, yay! Also, I must be an oddity of a FTM because I'm totally chill about the whole thing and definitely enjoying all the snuggles while I can :-) then again, when H and I were getting married I was told multiple times how relaxed I was for a bride, even by the pastor who married us a day before the wedding lol

Hopefully once she’s back above birth weight she perks up and you don’t have to deal with supplementing anymore if you don’t want to.

A friend dropped off supper last night, and I realized practically no one has come over to meet this baby - unlike DS1 who had people waiting to meet him when we arrived home from the hospital.

I am 7w PP today and I haven’t leaked for about 2 weeks (except for here and there when I go too long between feedings, especially overnight), though it was bad before then. I only feed one side at a time. I didn’t leak much last time after the beginning until I went back to work and started pumping, but that evened out pretty quickly too. So you never know! 😬

I’m so sorry. V was like that (still is at 3 years) and it is so stressful. I can’t imagine going through that with every kid. Hopefully A catches up soon.

I am enjoying it more too, though this one is a far easier baby than my first. Also, now that I have a threenager, I realize how good we had it in the newborn/infant phase even with a difficult baby, so I’m savoring this time a lot more since I know what lies ahead!

I would say I’m much more relaxed this time around also. With my first i felt like I was and I’m generally a very chill/go with the flow kind of person but now that I have a 2nd I realize I had a lot of anxiety after my 1st.

And I am just enjoying the newborn stage so much more. DH too. In fact he is already petitioning for a 3 kid. LOL. Originally after DD1, (who was a very easy kid and still for the most part is) he was OAD.

I am going to miss DH when he goes back to work on Monday. We have SUCH a nice routine going. Around 6ish I nurse DD2, sometimes DD1 is up and just hangs out with me upstairs while I nurse. DH takes the dog for a walk. When I am done nursing, DD2 gets to hang out with DH for a couple of hours--they snuggle together.
I go downstairs and spend time with DD1 and the dog and make breakfast. We relax and watch tv and rest for awhile.
In the mid day, DH spends one on one time with D1-going for a bike ride, playing a board game, etc. Sometimes she is at a friends house. It is a nice routine, one that I don't want to rock the boat with him going back to work.

I guess I am the opposite this time around. I was more relaxed with B but he was an easy baby. I am more anxious this time with E bc she is a difficult baby and has just had more things going on.
