I just bought a designer bag and wallet from an outlet, and I am fully aware that it was made for the outlet only. It was a very good deal, and is perfect for what I need. I am okay with this. Per what I have seen online, this may be a UO.

I really am tired of seeing blogs/ online articles with headlines like "We Really Need to Talk About ________" or "5 Reasons That _________ is Everything Right Now". Honestly, I think most blogs are a serious indicator of how narcissistic our society is. Nobody cares about your opinion, Jan. There are a few great blogs out there, but not too many.
I am also a hypocrite because I am one of a group of women that is frequently quoted in blogs on a very popular mommy site.

I don't have any new UO but I stopped at DD this morning to pick up a gift card and there was a huge line around the building for the drive-thru and only one other person inside. I was in and out in a jiffy even with getting my kid in and out of his car seat. So my very unpopular opinion against drive-thrus continues.

We went last Saturday and the line was 5 deep waiting to order. I'm not sitting in line for 10-15 minutes for 2 fucking donuts. We are going inside.

I know there are factors well above my scope, but I don't understand why businesses build a new building when there are SO MANY vacant spots they could buy/rent for less. I live in small town America, where "main street" has 50% vacant buildings. My town has available buildings from 3 shut down restaurants just sitting there wasting away looking like ass, and yet a restaurant owner in my town just posted on the town page that he sold his existing diner to a couple who will keep it open. And that he's opening a BBQ place which will be a brand new build in X location. The location is literally across the street from a shutdown Outback, so it's not like his build will be a better/ higher traffic area. I'm glad he's opening another business but I wish he'd take one of the vacant buildings!

I don't understand people who think having house cleaners is intrusive. I don't understand being comfortably wealthy and living in a dirty house. This is brought to you by the play date I went to at a mega mansion and their kitchen and bathroom were disgusting. Friend said she didn't want housekeepers going through her things.

So it may just be cheaper to start new than to tear down or renovate. It costs a lot to get stuff hauled off.

I know a lot of people here are anti-thank you cards, which I’m not speaking to, let me just state that before someone comes in with “just thank me in person and no need to waste paper.”
Pre-printed, generic thank you cards are tacky AF. If I get you a present and you’re using a stamp, please have the decency to actually thank me, rather than sign your name under a preprinted message. You’re not the president sending out his Christmas cards, nobody is that busy.

The problem here is that people aren’t willing to clean for themselves, not that they don’t want to outsource. Right. So either clean it yourself or outsource. I don't see how living in a dirty house is just ok. I mean she knew it too.

You are also limited on the set up by the existing building.

TBH I am not a great housekeeper.
We always had a cleaning lady come to our home though once every other week when I was a child and I remember feeling like I couldn't feel comfortable/ relax even as a child with someone in my home. I can't imagine ever hiring someone to come clean on a regular basis because I would feel like I would have to be out of the house while they were cleaning, if that makes sense.
I'd rather half heartedly clean at my own pace.

I really appreciate it" with zero mention of what you gave them or why they like it?

I will gladly leave the house to make room for someone to clean. Actually that sounds like my dream.
