...but it feels like Sunday.
Hope everyone had/is having a nice long weekend!
We spent the weekend at the ILs, but came hone last night so we could have today to go to the grocery and chill before the week starts. I woke up with a sore throat and that pre-cold feeling, so I’m pretty sure I’m coming down with something. Yay.

We're headed to Sesame Place as soon as the H gets home. He didn't realize it was memorial day and scheduled a job.

I braved Walmart today alone with 3 kids. They did okay. No meltdowns and I only forgot a few things. I'm currently sitting in my suburban feeding the baby before heading home. He pooped when I was unloading the cart, so that was fun changing in the vehicle. He proceeded to pee all over when I removed his diaper. Thanks kid. 😐
I hope my kiddos all nap the full 45 minute drive home. Would love some quiet time while I sip my semi-warm coffee.

Who has the Fawn diaper bag? I'm torn between the original and mini. I mainly want it to wear as a backpack. The original looks really big to me and I'm afraid it'll be cumbersome.

We went looking for a new local Jamaican food truck for lunch. She was not where she said she was going to be. Much disappoint. DH left to work an evening shift and DS and I are grocery shopping for an Adirondack camping trip at the end of the week.

I’m watching second hand baby jogger prams because I cannot even with my pram at the moment.
It’s a Phil and Teds and was great for DS1 but I have realised that there will be a period where DS2 cannot sit in it in any of its configurations since he’s set to outgrow the bucket seat way earlier than DS1 did. It’s also heavy and annoying. I love that it’s all terrain but I need an option that fits both kids in.

nevertoomanyshoes I love my city mini double. It's pretty light for a double and is a really smooth ride. The seats recline all the way so you can use it for newborns but my very large almost 3 year old has plenty of room.

I thought we wouldn't need a double stroller and I was wrong haha. So in an attempt to save money, I ordered a stroller board for DS and he wants nothing to do with it. So double stroller it is. I'm having a hard time finding a used ine at a decent price though and new is about as much as a kidney.

This is all the rage among the moms at the breastfeeding support group I go to. I have one on my shopping list but haven’t yet pulled the trigger.

You know when you spend an hour and a half making a new recipe for dinner and it ends up not being all that great? And your baby and H sleep the entire time. And you could have slept all that time minus 8 min and just had mac & cheese for dinner and been much happier. And had 10 less dishes to wash. I’m ready for bed.

Lol I did the same thing, except I bought the board used and it didn’t fit my stroller correctly. Plus G didn’t want to stand on it either because it was awkward. I ended up buying a used sit and stand one because half the time he wants to walk anyway. Here’s hoping.

I live in a small city and there are no used double strollers available right now. I thought I wouldn't need one but I do. I ordered a Phil & Ted's and didn't like it so sent it back. Now I'm waiting on a mountain buggy diet and hoping it's a keeper.

mintyblueair, snowmoon, I love my britax b agile double. LOVE. It's very much like the Citymini and it was worth every single penny. The only problem now is that it really doesn't fit well in my pathfinder when the 3rd row is up. Which is all the time bc 4 kids. clementine, that sucks. I am on a meal prep boycott and every time dh suggests something remotely nice or fancy I'm like "nope, nope, nope" He's a mellow dude so it works, but I feel bad. I just have no desire to plan and prepare anything that goes beyond a sandwich or grilled chicken. Slicing, dicing, chopping and marinating sounds so tedious and I do not have time. Besides, only he and I care and I end up eating it cold half the time anyway. No thank you. We had a nice weekend. I'm sad it's over. Summer is here, which I love, but I have 6 days to figure out how I'm going to deal with all four all summer and I'm losing my mind. I'm also realizing I actually quit my "real" job and I'm frantically downloading files while I can still access them. Apparently I'm not a teacher anymore?? So weird. I need to sell a house and find my new calling. I need time to actually do that. lol. DH and I looked at his time off balance and realized our summer vacation isn't going to happen because he has no days off.

I did not keep up here much last week. It was awful with D1 being sick. Her fever didnt fully go away until Saturday and she still has an awful cough that keeps her awake at night. The baby has hopefully escaped catching it.
Mh and I went on a date on Saturday. First one since the baby was born. And I went to a wine festival yesterday. I very much enjoyed my kid free time. But didn't enjoy the pumping and bottle situation.

DD1 really likes her “skateboard” ride-along thing thank goodness. DH and I agreed that it’ll be better for us to have two strollers than a big double. We rarely really need a double and any time we do, we’ll have two adults.
I want to list our whole stroller system for sale as soon as DD2 outgrows the bucket seat and get something lighter. I love the vista but it is heavy as hell.

I love the vista but it is heavy as hell. That makes sense. I didn’t want a full-fledged double because of the size, and I’ve been wearing A a lot so far, so we don’t need it. But I did want to get the sit and stand because we’re planning a Disney vacation this fall. I figure I won’t want to carry A all day and this way G can still ride if he gets tired but can hop off easier when he wants to do a ride/meet a character etc. Buying used was cheaper than renting there too.

Yeah I’m thinking this one over the select, the seats on the select don’t look like I’ll get much use out of them for SS1 before he outgrows it.

We have the Joovy Caboose sit and stand and love it. So far, my 2 and 4 year old use it while I wear baby when we go for walks. It does have an attachment for a bucket seat that I've used a few times too though. I like how compact it is when folded up.
Totally unrelated, but DD1 just woke up crying with a 103 fever. Nooooo. 😣 It seems like every other week someone is sick in my house. Ugh.

Oh no mattsgirl2004. Your household needs a break from illness. I hope it's just a fluke and she doesn't get sick.

We have a Graco double stroller. It has the bucket seat in the back and a regular seat in the front for D1. It can convert to a sit and stand too. We've used it a handful of times and I like it. D1 is 3.5 but we got it for zoo days and we are doing two Disney trips this summer so I figured we would get use out of it.

I think we have the same Graco double stroller as cp3. I haven't used it yet with the 3.5 year old. Looking forward to seeing how it works.

Anyone have a sun hat recommendation that will actually fit a 2 month olds head?
